Cop Trying to Kill the Family Dog, Kills Woman Instead, In Front of her Husband and 4-year-old Son

By Matt Agorist

Burlington, IA ? A Burlington Police officer, supervising a domestic dispute, shot and killed a woman in front of her house Tuesday morning.

The victim has been identified as 34-year-old Autumn Steele. The Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI), who is leading the investigation,?has not released the name of the officer who shot her.

There is no indication that Steele or her husband were armed or that they posed a threat to the officer involved.

According to court records Steele was arrested Monday night on a misdemeanor charge of domestic abuse. She was released from the jail and told that she?could not return to the home without?a police officer escort in order to gather her belongings.

Steele then returned to the home with her police officer escort, the same person that would later kill her.

As her husband, Gabriel Steele, was loading up their 4-year-old son, Steele came out of the house and got into an altercation with him. She was followed by the dog.

When the escort officer saw the disturbance he went to break it up. Witnesses say that at this time the dog was being playful, but apparently still threatened the officer which caused him to draw his pistol and begin shooting.

One of the shots fired struck Steele in the chest.

?The dog startled the officer. The officer began shooting at the dog. The officer was still shooting when he fell down in the snow,? one witness told The Hawk Eye Newspaper.

?It appeared he was shooting at the dog when (the officer) fell to the ground. It?s my belief the woman was shot accidentally,? said another witness.

Seconds after the shooting another Burlington officer arrived on the scene?and both officers?tried to calm Gabriel Steele, who wanted to help his wife.

?I?m a combat veteran,? he screamed. ?What are you guys (police) doing? Let me help.?

Steele was eventually taken by ambulance?to the Great River Medical Center where she later died of the gunshot wound to the chest.

This is a tragic case of police incompetence. The very government agency who claims the authority to carry deadly weapons into all situations often disregard this heavy responsibility and end up hurting those they ostensibly protect.

Something does not fit. Fell to the ground while shooting, and then already from the ground was still shooting and hit her in the chest?

Combat Veteran storms City Hall Cuntsel Meeting, Murders Everyone inside. Priceless. The stupid fucker. At least neglegent homicide. Glad it happened. Am I the only one to think the concept of 'domestic abuse',
in your own house, as applied in this case, is borderline perverted ?
Or how about
' could not return to the home without a police officer escort in order to gather her belongings' ??
I don't get it -
What where they 'protecting' her from ? Living ??
It was just a matter of time till this happened. If you discharge a weapon in an urban environment every 98 minutes in an effort to kill some hapless canine then human collateral damage will, will, will, eventually be a consequence. As a majority of homes with dogs also have children, I am am very surprised these same children haven't been killed by missed shots, ricochets, and in general just poor marksmanship. No doubt as the killing will be ruled "accidental" and "during the performance" of his so called duty the leo will face no consequences whatsoever. On the contrary, he will most likely get a promotion, a raise and a medal for valor or some-such.

Woman Says DHS Forced Her to Strip Naked at Gunpoint During Terrifying Dawn Raid

"Two hours of pure hell" as SWAT team trashes home

Kari Edwards said she and her boyfriend were forced to strip naked at gunpoint during a terrifying Department of Homeland Security dawn raid on their Florida home which lasted for two hours.

The incident began on June 10 at 6:16am when numerous armed SWAT team members, accompanied by a helicopter overhead, arrived in an armored vehicle at the couple?s address before smashing in the door and deafening their pet cat with flash bang smoke grenades.

"They busted in like I was a terrorist or something," Edwards told the Tea Party News Network, adding, "[An officer] demanded that I drop the towel I was covering my naked body with before snatching it off me physically and throwing me to the ground."

Having been previously employed by the federal agency herself, Edwards noted that some of the men were DHS agents, although when quizzed as to who they were and why they were conducting the raid, the men only responded by saying that they were ?police,? while calling Edwards ?stupid? and ?retarded? for asking the question.

"While I lay naked, I was cuffed so tightly I could not feel my hands. For no reason, at gunpoint," Edwards said. "[Agents] refused to cover me, no matter how many times I asked."

According to Edwards? boyfriend, one of the agents then proceeded to ogle his naked girlfriend up and down like a piece of candy.

?They spent about 2 hours trashing my house, even smashing clear glass shower doors and a vintage statue,? writes Edwards on her YouTube channel. ?My boyfriend, who is asthmatic, started having trouble breathing due to the lingering smoke created by the flash bang grenade.?

After trashing her home for two hours, Edwards said the SWAT team eventually handed her a warrant signed by Jonathan Goodman, a federal magistrate judge for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, which authorized the agents to search for computers and electronics, although Edwards claims police seemed uninterested in the couple?s electronics and did not seize any items despite raising the suspicion of child pornography.

Surveillance camera footage of the incident shows armed agents surrounding the property. Edwards says the clip is brief because the agents ripped out her surveillance DVR while claiming that they couldn?t be recorded.

Edwards summed up her experience by describing the incident as ?two hours of pure hell.? The couple have filed a complaint with the ACLU.

While the details of the incident remain unconfirmed, the story will heighten concerns that the DHS is turning into a ?standing army? emblematic of a militarized police state.

John W. Whitehead of the Rutherford Institute recently cited numerous examples of out of control DHS activity to make the point that the federal agency is a ?beast that is accelerating our nation's transformation into a police state through its establishment of a standing army, aka national police force.?

Sober Woman Framed With 'Drunk Driving' Charges After Cop Crashes Into Her Vehicle

The victim of a horrible accident was charged with OWI to cover for a deputy's faulty driving.

MILWAUKEE, WI ? A young woman had her neck broken in four places after her vehicle was T-boned by a police officer who blew through a stop sign.? Even though she was completely sober, the police charged with drunk driving and tried to shift the blame onto her instead of the party at fault.? When evidence surfaced that showed her innocence, it was hidden and ignored.? The deputy responsible was never punished.

Terrible Crash

Tanya Helena Weyker, 25, had never been accused of a crime, nor had she even so much as had a speeding ticket.? Her life changed forever the night of February 20, 2013, when her Toyota Camry was slammed by a Milwaukee County Sheriff?s deputy and was sent spinning into a tree.

?I was just driving straight and he hit me,? remembered Weyker in an interview with WITI.? ?It was just a miracle I wasn?t paralyzed.?

Deputy Joseph Quiles had broadsided her, mangling the vehicle and causing her life-threatening injuries.? The crash was so violent that it broke her neck in four places.?? Her passenger suffered a ruptured spleen.

Ms. Weyker was in critical condition, yet the responding deputies did not miss the opportunity to manufacture reasons to ruin her life and lock her in jail.? Quiles?s colleagues used Weyker?s ?glassy? eyes as evidence of drunk driving, along with the claim of a ?light odor? of alcohol.

"I explained to him my eyes were red and glassy because I was crying," Ms. Weyker explained.? "They made me into this criminal."

On the police report filed by Deputy Scott Griffin, the alleged ?victim? was recorded as fellow deputy Joseph Quiles.? The report claimed that Weyker made conflicting statements and did its best to make her look like a criminal.

Charges and Injuries

To go with her terrible injuries, Ms. Weyker was slammed with 5 crimes:
Unreasonable and Imprudent SpeedOperating While IntoxicatedOperating with PAC >= 0.08 < 0.10Causing Injury While Operating While IntoxicatedCausing Injury While Operating with PAC alcoholWeyker miraculously survived the ordeal, but she had a tough recovery ahead of her.? A month after the crash, Weyker was in desperate shape.? She had drifted down to an incredibly low body weight of 76 pounds on her 5?6? frame.?? She was so weak that doctors said she required a feeding tube.

Her condition was complicated by the fact that she was a cancer survivor since the age of 3 years old.? As a child, doctors gave her so many doses of radiation that her spine began to curve, so they inserted metal rods into her back to keep it straight.? She had been living with these rods for many years at the time of the crash.

Unable to work, crippled, and drowning in medical bills approaching $1 million ? Ms. Weyker also had to pay for legal services to defend herself from the Milwaukee County Sheriff?s Department.

What?s worse, the case wasn?t being dropped, even though the evidence was clearly on her side.? The night of the crash, Weyker was in no condition to give a field sobriety test, but her blood was drawn during hospitalization.? The test results came back proving that she had absolutely no alcohol in her system.

Justice Served?

It is unlikely that such treatment would have occurred to the victim of any other crash that did not involve a police officer.? With no tangible evidence for the charges, the Milwaukee County Sheriff?s deputy pushed the blame onto his victim to ?protect himself and his department,? according to Ms. Weyker.

Deputy Quiles himself was found to have changed his story.? In his official police report, he claimed to have made a complete stop at the stop sign.? Yet a surveillance video captured from the nearby airport showed that Quiles rolled right through it, striking Weyker?s vehicle.

The department obtained the surveillance video only days after the crash ? but it was kept hidden from Ms. Weyker and her attorney.?? Instead of revealing the evidence and dropping the manufactured charges against her, the department sent her threatening letters demanding money to pay for the accident.

Fortunately, the district attorney declined to pursue the charges against Ms. Weyker.? The Milwaukee County Sheriff?s Office seems to have an unaddressed integrity problem.

In a later internal investigation, Deputy Quiles was recorded admitting his own fault in the crash.? Despite this admission ? contradicting his original report ? he is still listed as an active deputy with the department, WITI News discovered.? He was never fired or officially disciplined for the fraudulent report that caused Ms. Weyker so much agony.

Canadian Woman Threatens To Film Out Of Control Cop, Cop Beats Her In "Sexual Assault" & Charges Her For Resisting

Chris | InformationLiberation

A Canadian dental surgeon says an out of control cop beat her on the side of the road, slammed her face into the pavement after she was handcuffed, and committed a "sexual assault" by repeatedly hitting her breasts while she was restrained -- all because he was infuriated she threatened to record him with her cell phone.

GlobalNews.ca reports:

EDMONTON ? A Camrose woman says she was left battered and bruised on Saturday following a traffic stop she will never forget.

Dr. Simona Tibu was on her way to see patients in Edmonton that morning, when she was pulled over by an Alberta sheriff for speeding.

Tibu claims the sheriff violently hit her window. When she opened it, he asked her to hand over her drivers license and insurance information.

?I advised him I would do so if he stopped hitting my car.?

Tibu also told him that if he didn?t, she would record him on her phone.

?At that moment, he became very violent. He took his hands through my window, hit my right hand, where I have bruises on it, smashed my cell phone out of my hands, and told me? ?Get out of your car now.??

She listened to the sheriff, who handcuffed her. With her arms behind her back, Tibu says the sheriff then began hitting her breasts.

Fearing for her life, she began to scream, hoping someone would hear her and help.

Tibu says that only made the sheriff even more aggressive. She claims he pressed his knees into hers until they were bruised, and pushed his pelvis into her back.

?I felt a hit in my head then he smashed my head on the pavement on the road until I was full of blood. Then he told me, ?Now I?m going to walk all over you.??

She remembers seeing a man show up, and eventually an RCMP officer and ambulance arrived at the scene.

Tibu was taken to hospital. She suffered bruises all over her body, including her breasts.

After speaking with an RCMP officer, she was shocked to learn she was being charged with resisting arrest, but the sheriff involved in the alleged incident wasn?t facing any charges.

?I am going to make justice happen,? she says. ?No individual should be handcuffed and be beaten by the police. No women should be handcuffed by the police and be sexually assaulted.?

According to this post on West Coast Native News Dr. Tibu filed for and received a restraining order against one "Sherrif Behills."

It appears the police have still yet to respond.

OMG, I can't believe this happened not far from where I live. How are we to respect the police if they do not respect us. Is there some kind of petition we can sign to have this sheriff lose his job. Alberta should never have decided to get sheriffs. And now that Canada may be allowing US cops to work on our streets???? How many more men and women will get beat up? Theses pigs are out of control. she's so beautiful! now she'll have a scar on her beautiful face you fucking faggot! From now on, if your wife or children are stopped by the cops tell them to call you and keep their windows closed until you arrive and gather up friends and family and provide an ARMED escort home. if a first cop who stops you is overly aggressive you should say back off while i call a legitimate cop, i don't know you, i don't trust you, you are violating your own laws you piece of shit, do not attack me or i will defend myself.

obviously the first cop will get furious you resist his tyranny, and will attack,

that's when you shoot the flying fuck out of him, don't stop firing until he stops moving.

afraid of jailtime? afraid of death? then don't tell me you're a Christian, God hates liars.

atheists, agnostics, etc., go ahead and bend over, your years on earth are all you had anyway.

kill, evil, now.

This reminds me of an old headline from several years ago: More beat cops for Edmonton. Now we know why they are called beat cops, ha ha. You do not tell cops you will comply with them 'on condition X'. No, it doesn't work that way.

Is it possible that this officer used excessive force? Yes. Do I believe it? I don't know, maybe if this woman wasn't being defensive and essentially baiting the cop from the get-go I would be more apt to believe her, but right now it sounds like she was being unnecessarily non-compliant, the officer pulled her out, she resisted, and she was forcefully arrested. You don't play fucking mind games with officers - how is he to know she was grabbing a phone and not a gun? Being a woman doesn't mean you get soft baby treatment when being defiant. If you resist arrest, you get your ass shoved to the ground and cuffed.

If the rest of her story *is* true, that's one thing, but I have a feeling there is a lot of exaggeration and compensatory finger pointing going on here.

to anon 24215 - you can actually look at those pictures, and know that it is a female and a male cop involved, and say what you said?

all i can say is good luck when you meet God, you're in for a rude awakening.

as for "you can't do this to cop", again you're sinning against God by placing a human - ANY human - before God. you don't have to believe in God, i couldn't care less about you, but you've been warned. good luck with that.

@ 24215
if you were a cop and you just handcuffed a woman, hence she's laying on the ground because your small dick dictated you to put her there and you keep beating the poor woman do you think you just earn a medal? no my friend you just became the lowest scumbag on earth. in the police business there's no place for ego, because you're armed and in cases like this the opponent is defenceless and there's no place for rage like this in the police force or anywhere else for that matter.
it's true, neither of us knows what happened exactly but unfortunately that's why it's called "police brutality" and it happens like it or not.
i really hope that if this was such a case that piece of shit get's jail time. at least that's justice

Absolute disgrace. That us tax payers are paying for such stupid egotistical law enforcement such as him . Philly Cop Filmed Punching Small Woman In Face At Puerto Rican Day Parade Gets Job Back With Full Back Pay

Chris | InformationLiberation

Remember Police Lt. Jonathan Josey, the philly cop who decked a small woman in the face because he wrongly thought she threw beer at him? A few months ago we reported how a judge in a non-jury trial found him not guilty of simple assault after he told the judge he didn't mean to punch the woman in the face, 'he was only trying to knock a beer out of her hand.'

Anyone who watched the video can see that is a blatant lie, but the costumed criminals who run Philadelphia couldn't give a damn about producing justice, the only people they "serve" is themselves, so the judge felt entirely comfortable giving the public the finger and pardoning a fellow gang member.

Yesterday, another member of the same criminal class bestowed with the title of "arbitrator" ordered the cop get his job back -- with full back pay. In other words, punching a small woman in the face in a violent unprovoked attack netted the officer a year's paid vacation.

Josey apparently feels god himself helped him get his job back.

Josey put out the following message on his Facebook in response to the win:

First and foremost I want to give all glory, honor and thanks be to GOD, for carrying me throughout this entire ordeal. GOD IS GOOD.

Secondly, I would like to thank all of my family (extended & immediate), (real) friends who prayed unceasingly and were a constant source of encouragement. I am glad this is finally over. I asked that you continue to keep me in prayers as I return to doing the job that I love so much, serving this City. I will be stepping away from FB for a little bit, but I will return. Thank you all, God Bless!!

The woman he "served" up a knuckle sandwich to, Aida Guzman, said in reacting to the ruling, "I don't feel happy. I feel real, real sick. I don't know what to say."

Clearly, god abandoned her in favor of Josey... Either that, or the criminals who run Philly and think they are God chose to defend one of their fellow criminals over a lowly pleb tax-slave they rule over, I'm not sure which is the case...

Police Chief Attempts to Shoot Dog, Hits Woman Instead

Chris | InformationLiberation

Winston-Salem's incoming police chief Barry Rountree allegedly found himself being confronted by an aggressive dog while responding to a dangerous weapons call, MyFox8 reports. The aspiring new Chief went to shoot the dog, failed, and hit a woman instead after his bullet ricocheted.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. ? The woman shot Wednesday by incoming Winston-Salem Police Chief Barry Rountree says he did not immediately come to help her after she was shot.

?He did not come to me. He backed away,? says Tamara Whitt after being released from the hospital. ?He just backed up and I saw the cell phone come out ? he walked across the street over there by that car over there and he was on his phone ? and I told the SBI he did not come to me.?

Investigators say Rountree shot Whitt in the leg after responding to a dangerous weapon call at 124 North Jackson Ave. around 1:30 p.m, after a 911 caller reported a man was standing on the porch with a large gun pointed at another person.

Rountree and Officer Mohammed Khan, responded to the scene stationing themselves behind Khan?s vehicle.

Whitt, who lives nearby, says her boxer dog ?Lebrone? heard the officers and went down the driveway as she followed.? In a Winston-Salem Police Dept. news release investigators say the dog ran toward Rountree and Khan, acting in an ?aggressive manner.? Rountree attempted to shoot the dog, but his bullet hit the pavement and struck Whitt.

?The dog was closer to me than the officer, that?s where this whole thing is just out of hand,? said Whitt who questions why Rountree fired his gun while she was near the dog. ?I wasn?t expecting the gun to be fired because I was right there.? Whitt also says her dog is ?very passive? and ?not aggressive.?

According to police, the round struck the pavement ricocheted and bullet fragments struck Whitt. Whitt says the entire 40 caliber bullet is inside her left thigh and doctors say it?s too dangerous to remove.

Whitt says officer Khan immediately radioed for help and came to her aid, but it wasn?t until after Rountree finished his phone call that he walked over to ask if she was ok.

?I just hope that the SBI does a good investigation and really sees if he really deserve to be our police [chief] because I honestly thought that was a rookie mistake.?

Lebrone -?the family dog, is ok and in the custody of Forsyth County Animal Control.

Watch the video report:

Since this report came out, the chief's fellow government employees in the SBI who "investigated" the incident quickly found him not guilty (shocker), meaning he will officially be Winston-Salem's new police chief!

The pig chief should be shot in the balls. The dog was doing his job but the pig chief was not. If it was me SWAT would have had to be called and there would be blood shed. F*ck this country's Fascist cops and politicians, time to go to war! YOU GOD DAMNED ROOKIE. SUSPENSION WITHOUT PAY. ON TO THE NEXT COUNTY YOU INCOMPETENT JACK WAGON Reptilian's are afraid of dogs. Or is it reptile brains? She seriously wanted him to come "help" her after he just shot her? Please sir give me another. In the "let them know who's boss and scare the daylights out of the citizens program," Chief Rountree only gets one point for this shooting. Missed the dog entirely, and only got a bank shot on the woman. He needs to practice.
Maybe give him another half a point for style though, since he was cool enough to not let such a trivial matter distract him as he stepped across the street to check on if his lotto ticket was a winner. I want every cop to know this: you shoot my dog you die. This is that simple. Many people think like me. So if you contenplate shooting any dog you might have better to reconsider because it might cost your live in the end. May be it would be simpler just to shoot yourself in the head instead? They best kill me first. Once I see my dogs dead I'll dump ng into the house and blow the fuckin' whole block to hel! Cross-eyed shooting causes collateral damage

Cop Allegedly Sexually Assaults Woman, Then Arrests Her For Protesting

Chris | InformationLiberation

Via 8 News Now/BCND:
LAS VEGAS -- Clark County taxpayers may have to pay settlement money to a sexual assault victim and the family court marshal accused of assaulting her.

The I-Team broke the story of a wide-ranging investigation into family court abuse last month. Marshal Ron Fox was fired for sexually assaulting a woman in court and arresting her when she spoke up about it.

The video the I-Team uncovered is spurring outrage with viewers and shaking up the court. But the marshal that internal affairs called a liar may still get a taxpayer funded payday. The I-Team uncovered video of marshal Ron Fox arresting Monica Contreras. She was in court for a protection order hearing.

Internal affairs documents reviewed by the I-Team conclude Fox took Contreras to a side room and inappropriately searched her. When Contreras told the hearing master, Fox arrested her for making a "false allegation against a police officer." There is no Nevada law supporting the stated reason for that arrest.

Woman injured in LAPD manhunt says cops won't pay taxes on replacement truck

By Arturo Garcia

The attorney for a woman who was mistakenly targeted by Los Angeles police during the manhunt for Christopher Dorner in February has accused the department of breaking its promise of a new truck for her.

?You tried to murder the woman, you put 102 bullet holes in her truck,? Glen Jonas told KNBC-TV on Monday. ?Now you?re telling her she can?t have a 4-wheel drive.?

Jonas his client, 47-year-old Maggie Carranza, refused a police offer of a new Ford F-150 truck if she agreed to pay taxes on it, in part because it meant Carranza would have to pay an additional $10,000 in personal income taxes she cannot afford. He said the department?s offer also barred Carranza from selling the vehicle for a year.

Shock Video Shows New Jersey Police Officer Deck Woman In Face

Chris | InformationLiberation

Backstory via NJ.com:

An internal investigation has been launched into a viral YouTube video that shows an Elizabeth police officer punching a woman in the face as he tries to break up a melee outside of a nightclub last weekend, officials said today.

The officer will remain on active duty while police investigate a 20-second YouTube clip, said Kelly Vence, a city spokeswoman.

Vence declined the identify the officer, and said the woman who was struck has not spoken to authorities. A police spokesman refused to comment on the incident.

In the clip, which has gained more than 11,000 views since it was posted on March 3, the officer is seen attempting to break up a fracas outside of Envy Night Club on North Broad Street. After walking away from a crowd of roughly 10 to 12 people, the officer grabs hold of a man in a black vest and shoves him to the ground. Once the man falls, a woman wearing a red dress appears to grab the officer?s arm, and he responds by punching her.

[...]Wayne Fisher, a former deputy director of the state Division of Criminal Justice, said the woman appears to have initiated the physical contact, and encouraged residents to wait for the entire story to come out before criticizing the officer.

A spokesman for Attorney General Jeffrey Chiesea declined to comment on the video, but referred to the state?s guidelines on use of force by police, which says officers may use physical force to defend themselves if they feel they are facing a legitimate threat.

I can't tell if she grabbed his arm in an act of "interference," or if the cop was moving to arrest her, at which point she grabbed his arm merely to balance herself and brace herself for his onslaught. Regardless, she sure as hell didn't attack the cop, at most she laid her hand on him, hardly what I would call a "legitimate threat," yet the cop wound up and decked her like his life depended on it.

Cops in Elizabeth New Jersey are douches so this criminal thuggish behavior of this one in the video is of no surprise. Of course most New Jersey citizens don't value freedom and usually are apologists for the police. The officer was trying to handle a whole group without backup. The video shows she grabbed the officer. At that point ,game on. You don't interfere with an officer making an arrest. I may done the same thing OR maced the whole gruop if they wouldn't MOVE BACK! Just shows the behavior of a bunch of drunk heathens outside a night club when they get ten feet tall and bullet proof. Hey smart ass 9883 maybe in your bizarro world he then should have shot her you fckn twerp. Oh yeah troll cop in other words fuck off.

Oklahoma Woman Seeks Medical Treatment, Is Jailed Instead, Dies

Follow @infolibnews!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src='//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js';fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,'script','twitter-wjs'); by Phillip Smith

A pregnant Oklahoma woman who went to a hospital seeking treatment for extreme pain was instead jailed after police found pain pills on her and died in jail shortly thereafter. Jamie Lynn Russell, 33, becomes the third person to die in US domestic drug law enforcement operations so far this year.

According to KFOR-TV News Channel 4 in Oklahoma City, Russell went to the hospital in Pauls Valley seeking help for severe abdominal pain. Hospital staff reported that Russell wouldn't cooperate and was in too much pain to even lie down, so they asked a Paul's Valley police officer to assist.

And that's when Russell's medical emergency morphed into a drug bust. The police officer found two prescription pills on her for which she did not have a prescription, so she was arrested and jailed on drug possession charges. She was found unresponsive in her cell less than two hours later.

"There is nothing my staff in the jail could?ve done differently,? Garvin County sheriff Larry Rhodes said. "She had a medical release from the hospital stating that she was fit for incarceration," Rhodes said. "It?s very regrettable for the family. My heart and prayers go out to them."

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has cleared the jail staff of any criminal wrongdoing.

The state medical examiner's office later confirmed that Russell died from a ruptured ecoptic pregnancy, where the embryo implants outside the uterus.

Russell's friends and family are pointing the finger at the hospital. "Jamie was seeking help; she was in extreme pain," family friend Kemper Kimberlin told KFOR. "We want to see this come to light. Something's wrong and needs to be fixed."

It may take a civil wrongful death lawsuit to find out exactly what's wrong?and how a hospital can turn a pain-tormented woman over to police to be jailed instead of treated.

In this society, there's nothing more important than enforcing the law. The most trivial and benign law violation, no victims, no damage, trumps any other consideration, human life included.

I can imagine that by the way things are arranged, neither police officer, nor hospital staff couldn't act differently without risking their own careers or maybe even their own liberty - once the pill was discovered.

Denver Police Officer Found Guilty Of Using Badge To Sexually Assaulting Woman

DENVER (CBS4) ? A Denver police officer charged with sexually assaulting a woman he pulled over has been found guilty.

The verdict came in Tuesday afternoon against Hector Paez. He was found guilty of sexual assault, kidnapping and false reporting.

[...]?Before I knew it he said I had a warrant and threw me in the back seat of the car.?

The woman did have a warrant for a probation violation, but after driving her to a secluded area Paez told her there was a way to avoid jail.

?He just undid his pants and said, ?You know what you have to do,? ? she said. ?He thought, ?Here?s somebody with a warrant and I can do whatever I want to do with them. They?re not going to tell on me.? ?

Charlotte Cop Kills Dog, Nearly Shoots Pregnant Woman

Follow @infolibnews!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src='//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js';fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,'script','twitter-wjs'); Chris | InformationLiberation

Here is her story as posted to Facebook:

Last night around 9:40 an officer came to respond to a 911 call at my house... I was outside and opened the door and my 2 Pit Bulls came outside? They did not bark, growl, charge at the officer or show any sign of aggression towards him... The officer yelled at me to grab my dog... I am 7 months pregnant? I bent down in time to grab him from the hips but it was to late the officer had already fired a shot that grazed my female pit bull on her lip and hit my other dog at the neck... He instantly went down, Not to mention that the officer could have shot me too while I was holding my dog. This all happened at my property, two steps away from my door. My husband ran outside and started yelling at the cop and asked him why he shot my dog and the officer said it was because ?HE WAS A PIT BULL?... At this point I was on the ground holding Chino and telling him to cross over the rainbow bridge... My husband was running around the neighborhood looking for our injured pit bill... Once chino passed I started to tell the officers to please not to shoot my other dog that was able to get away from the officer.

I also have to mention that after some time I was put in an ambulance because I was hyperventilating and the medics said that my blood pressure was elevated due to the situation, I also feared that anything would happen to my unborn baby. They asked to take me to the hospital but I refused to leave my dogs side, especially because one was still missing and was scared that the officers might shot her again. My husband was able to find my injured dog and had to take her to the emergency vet and got some stitches on her lip.

The officer who took the shots disappeared after a while and I also have to say that the officers didn?t seem to show any concern or remorse about what they did, first there were like 10 police cars but after a short time they were leaving and only 4 or 5 officers stayed back, and it didn?t seem like a crime scene anymore because they were gathered around in a circle laughing and smiling. I don?t know if they were making fun of my husband because he was running around the neighborhood looking for my injured dog. They were also rude to my husband telling him that they were going to arrest him because he was being agitated because he couldn?t find our other dog and because now I was sitting in an ambulance fearing that something could happen to me or our unborn child. One officer even pushed my husband because he stepped over the crime scene yellow tape. They told him more than one time that they were going to arrest him but luckily my husband was able to avoid it. My husband has spent 8 years in the Marine Corps and has and idea how cops will find a reason to make an arrest.

I'm still in shock and not emotionally right after seeing my baby being shot and killed in front of me. My husband is not in his best mental state either and is doing whatever possible to find someone who can help us bring justice to our dogs. We ended up with veterinarian bills to get my other Pit Bull stitches and might have to take her back tomorrow because it?s almost been 24 hours since the shooting and she won?t eat or drink any water. I also had to miss work today because I?m not emotionally stable to function at work and I might not be able to be working tomorrow either. I also have to see my doctor to make sure that everything is fine with me and my unborn baby, because I have been felling a pressure on my stomach and haven?t been able to eat or sleep.

Today we have been calling lawyer offices and went to the police station trying to file a report directly on the officer and they said the statements we made yesterday would be sufficient and they couldn't give us a copy... They will not let us file a report against the officer who shot my two dogs. We tried going to the Sheriff?s office and they said they couldn?t help us either.

This is another perfect example of someone learning the hard way why you should never call the police.

Looks like they like to abuse people an animals on regular basis! Now they want to take our guns, no wonder no one feels safe anymore! a week ago I witnessed a situation where a woman had 2 pit-bulls run away from her home as she opened the door and they literately jumped and ripped another woman's dog into pieces...
As I took one pit-bull and slammed it back into her house, another by-passer did the same with the 2nd pit-bull, I closed the screen door and watched both dogs lick each others left-over blood stains from the dead dog...

What a specie of animals! I understand the cop being frightened by these animals, and I guess he heard and knows of stories of pit-bulls being unpredictable.

So many similar stories. Orders from high-up? Get over it. the NEW BOLSHEVIKS are firmly entrenched.

Cop Detains Woman, Allegedly Takes Her To Dark Alley & Asks To See Her Breasts

Chris | InformationLiberation

Juan Senabre, a six-year veteran police officer with the Homestead police in Florida, allegedly has a unique way of getting his jollies. After arresting a woman for having a suspended licence, he allegedly drove her to a dark alley, turned his lights off and allegedly told her, ?I?m going to help you so you don?t go to jail," ?Have you ever been with a crazy policeman??

Via The Miami Herald:

Here?s what happened, according to city documents:

Zenaida Figueroa-Ortiz and her boyfriend parked on the side of Krome Terrace to eat some food they had just bought. While they were parked, Senabre drove by twice in his police car.

The couple decided to drive a short distance to a friend?s house, where Senabre stopped Figueroa-Ortiz as she stepped out of her car, telling her she had a suspended license.

Figueroa-Ortiz later told internal affairs investigators that Senabre told her she would be arrested, and put her in his police car. But he didn?t take her to the police station.

Instead, Figueroa-Ortiz claimed Senabre drove around the corner to a dark apartment complex, and turned off the car?s headlights.

?I?m going to help you so you don?t go to jail,? Senabre said, according to Figueroa-Ortiz?s statement.

Then, she told investigators, he asked, ?Have you ever been with a crazy policeman??

Figueroa-Ortiz told investigators she told Senabre she?s ?not that type of girl,? and asked to be taken to jail. Senabre then asked to see the woman?s breasts, according to the internal affairs report.

When she refused, Senabre allegedly asked to see Figueroa-Ortiz?s bra. She still refused, and a car started coming toward where they were parked.

Senabre turned on his headlights and took Figueroa-Ortiz back to her friend?s home, telling Figueroa-Ortiz to meet him at court the next day to take care of her suspended license.

Although the cop was fired over this incident, he is taking his case to so-called "arbitration." Chances are he will be reinstated, with full back pay, and this whole incident will end up being nothing more than a paid vacation.

Police Arrest Woman For Filming Them, Take Phone Out Of Her Bra, Claim That It Must Be Kept As 'Evidence'

by Mike Masnick

In the comments to our story last week about false arrests for filming police, someone pointed to yet another such story of a woman who was arrested for filming the police. Even worst, the police confiscated her phone -- which she had shoved into her bra -- and then have refused to return it, claiming that it's now "evidence" of a crime.

If there's any "good" news in this story, it's that the police chief immediately ordered an investigation into the officer who did this, and noted that it's legal to film police. Still, the details of what happened seem pretty crazy. As reported by the New Haven Independent (linked above):

?Stop filming right now!? Rubino ordered her.

?No this is my civil right,? she recalled saying. Gondola said she?s ?always on all these news sites? reading about recent cases in which cops got in trouble for snatching cameras from citizens.

?Well, I have to right to review it,? Rubino allegedly told her.

Gondola claimed she remained ?very quiet and calm? and ?pressed play? to show him the video. ?But I didn?t let him touch my phone.?

Rubino?s response, according to Gondola: ?It?s evidence of a crime. You need to give it to me right now.?

Her response to his response: ?I?m not giving you the phone.?

His next response: ?If you don?t give me the phone, you?re getting arrested.?

So Gondola slipped the phone into her bra. Rubino ?twisted my hand hard behind me and put the cuffs on me. Really tight. My wrists are black and blue,? she said.

Rubino next ordered a female officer to pat her down and commanded, ?I want that phone out of her bra.? The woman removed the phone. Rubino ?put it in his pocket,? Gondola said.

The article, written a few days later, notes that later on she demanded the phone back, and was once again told that it was "evidence" and that the only way she can get her phone back is to wait until she goes to court, and asks the judge to return the phone. At the very least, it sounds like she will be without her phone for well over a week. In these days, when phones are pretty central to a lot of people's lives, that can be a pretty big hardship... all for doing something perfectly legal: filming the police on duty.

If Cops Can't Taze a Pregnant Woman, The Terrorists Will Win

by William Norman Grigg

Thanks to a misbegotten ruling from a divided Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, police in nine states have been left at an insurmountable disadvantage when dealing with criminal suspects. At least, that?s what we?re told in a legal brief submitted to the Supreme Court by a coalition of police unions.

?It won?t be long before the word spreads through society?s criminal underworld that the Ninth Circuit hasn?t simply given them a `get out of jail free? card, but a `never have to go to jail in the first place? card,? warns the amicus brief. Rather than subduing criminals, ?police officers will now be forced to walk away from people they have arrested.?

The ruling that is fraught with such awful implications, Brooks v. City of Seattle, involved a patently unnecessary Taser attack upon a woman who was seven months pregnant. The unarmed woman, who was not suspected of a violent crime, posed no threat to the three ? yes, three ? valiant officers who assaulted her. She was uncooperative, but did not offer any violent resistance.

Her sole ?offense? was to refuse a demand that she sign a traffic ticket that was eventually dismissed.

In March 2010, the Ninth Circuit Court found that Seattle Police Officers Steven Daman, Juan Ornelas, and Donald Jones used excessive force when they committed their attack on Brooks and her unborn child ? but that they were entitled to ?qualified immunity? because the legal precedents dealing with the use of electro-shock torture on a pregnant woman were ambiguous in 2004.

The assailants were thus left in the clear -- but unsatisfied with their victory. With the support of organizations representing tens of thousands of police officers (including some 30,000 SWAT operators), the officers are appealing that ruling to the Supreme Court, claiming that any limitation on the discretionary use of tasers against non-violent ?suspects? constitutes an unacceptable restraint on police discretion and a dire threat to that holiest of social considerations, ?officer safety.?

In its brief on behalf of the officers, the Los Angeles County Police Chiefs Association (LACPCA) and the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA) insist that refusing to allow police to use electro-shock torture against a pregnant woman would fatally undermine the principle of ?pain compliance? on which social order ? as they pretend to understand it ? depends.

On November 23, 2004, Malaika Brooks was taking her son to school when she was stopped by Officer Ornelas, who claimed ? wrongly, as it turned out ? that she had been speeding. When he presented Brooks with a traffic ticket, she refused to sign it out of the concern that doing so would constitute an admission of guilt. She had done the same during a 1996 traffic stop in which the officer, who possessed some residual decency, simply handed her the little extortion note and walked away.

Ornelas, unfortunately, chose to escalate the encounter by calling for ?backup.? A few minutes later, Officer Jones and Sgt. Daman arrived on the scene and began to threaten and berate Brooks. None of this was necessary: The officers were engaging in a tribal display of primate dominance, rather than carrying out a function related in any way to protection of person and property. When they threatened to kidnap ? or, as they called it, ?arrest? ? Brooks, the woman informed them that she was ?less than 60 days from having my baby.?

After huddling briefly, the three officers attacked Brooks. Ornelas seized her right arm and -- in the course of less than a minute ? inflicted three ?drive stun? charges to Brooks?s neck, shoulder, and thigh, an assault that left her with permanent scars. The three officers then dragged Brooks ? who had been desperately clinging to the steering wheel, honking the horn, and screaming for help ? from the car, threw her face-down and pinned her to the ground. She was handcuffed and then booked on charges of ?Refusing to sign? a traffic citation ? a misdemeanor ? and resisting arrest.

A jury eventually found Brooks guilty of the first ?offense,? and acquitted her of the second. The speeding citation was thrown out before Brooks went to court. Brooks filed suit against the officers for assault and violating her civil rights. The officers responded by invoking the well-established ? and utterly specious ? doctrine of ?qualified immunity,? seeking a summary dismissal. The District Court dismissed the assault charge but found that the officers had committed a civil rights violation that nullified their claim to qualified immunity.

The Ninth Circuit reversed that holding as it applied to the defendants, ruling that the officers were protected by qualified immunity and could not be sued by Brooks. However, the Court offered notice that in the future similar taser attacks on non-cooperative but non-violent subjects would constitute excessive force.

In his dissent, Judge Alex Kozinski maintained that Brooks ?had shown herself deaf to reason, and moderate physical force had only led to further entrenchment?. Brooks was tying up two line officers, a sergeant and three police vehicles ? resources diverted from other community functions ? to deal with one lousy traffic ticket.?

Who was responsible for this ?diversion? ? Mrs. Brooks, who was merely being uncooperative, or Officer Ornelas and his comrades, who needlessly escalated a disagreement over ?one lousy traffic ticket? to the point where potentially deadly force was used against someone accused of a trivial traffic offense, rather than an actual crime?

?The officers couldn?t just walk away,? complains Kozinski. ?Brooks was under arrest.?

There was no substantive reason why the police couldn?t walk away ? if they had been acting as peace officers, that is, rather than as armed enforcers of the revenue-consuming class.

If a police officer has the option of deploying a reliably deadly weapon in a situation of this kind, he also has the option of backing down and letting the court deal with the merits of the citation. But the position claimed by the officers ? and accepted, in a qualified sense, by the Ninth Circuit Court ? is that anything other than immediate and unqualified submission by a Mundane justifies the infliction of summary punishment by a police officer.

The amicus brief by the LACPCA and NTOA lament that the Ninth Circuit Court, while upholding the unqualified ?authority? of police to arrest people at their discretion, ?has deprived officers of any lawful way of enforcing that authority, at least when the suspect is not engaged in violence directed towards the officers? and has ?unnecessarily limited the amount of force that can be used against a suspect who refrains from using violence against the police? (emphasis added).

What the police unions who filed that brief are demanding is an open-ended grant of unlimited ?authority? to use ?pain compliance? against people who passively resist abduction by police. The question of using violent means to subdue a violent criminal suspect is not implicated in any way by this case.

In their petition for certiorari, the officers ? whose actions, remember, were upheld by the Ninth Circuit Court ? complain that the ruling could ?prohibit the use of any low-level physical force against an actually resisting suspect who does not present an imminent threat of harm to the officers, a result that could strip law enforcement of any reasonable and practical means of enforcing the law.?

To which a person whose mind is not hostage to totalitarian assumptions would reply: ?And the problem with this is???

In a reasonably free society, police (actually, peace officers) would not presume to "enforce" the law; they would track down and arrest people plausibly suspected of committing crimes against person and property. They would not be permitted to violate the unconditional law of non-aggression by initiating force, or issue what they assume to be ?lawful orders? to people who are not suspected of actual crimes. They certainly would not be permitted to employ ?pain compliance? in any situation that didn?t involve legitimate defense against an actual aggressor.

Remarkably, in their amicus brief the officers who committed what should be prosecuted as a felonious assault on Brooks asserted that ?it is well established that police officers need not use the least amount of force in effecting an arrest.?

Once again, we?re invited to believe that there would be apocalyptic consequences if police were inhibited in the use of disproportionate force to compel non-violent ?suspects? to submit to their supposed authority.

Under the standard prescribed in the amicus briefs filed on behalf of the officers who assaulted Brooks, it?s difficult to find fault with the actions of Beaumont, California Police Officer Enoch Clark.

On February 21, Clark stopped a woman named Monique Hernandez on suspicion of DUI. When Clark tried to handcuff her, Hernandez resisted. Clark?s preferred method of ?pain compliance? was a JPX device ? a weapon that employs a gunpowder charge to fire a stream of pepper spray at roughly 400 miles an hour.

The JPX weapon is designed for use against armed assailants at a distance of 6 to 15 feet. Its payload of weaponized OC spray is propelled over that distance at less than three one-hundredths of a second, making it (in the words of the company?s promotional literature) ?too fast to avoid?. The effect is immediate; there is no chance to resist.?

Clark ? a veteran officer and chairman of the local police officers union -- fired his JPX gun into Hernandez?s right temple at a distance of roughly ten inches. The impact shattered the woman?s right eye and inflicted irreparable damage to her left eye as well.

The officer has been indicted on four felony charges. His attorney insists that the officer?s attack was justified in order ?to gain compliance and in defense of his person.? If the claims made by and on behalf of the officers who assaulted Mailaka Brooks are sound ? if police officers are not legally required to use minimal force when dealing with non-violent ?suspects? ? it?s difficult to see how Clark?s actions were improper, even though they resulted in Monique Rodriguez being permanently blinded.

?It was Brooks?s recalcitrance and resistance that prompted her treatment,? sniffs the officers? petition for certiorari. ?Under both state and federal law she did not have a right to resist her arrest,? which purportedly means that the officers were permitted ? nay, required ? to employ ?pain compliance? techniques against her until she submitted.

Wouldn?t the same principle apply to the actions of Enoch Clark in dealing with the equally recalcitrant Monique Hernandez? His police union attorney certainly thinks so. And let us not forget that any effort to inhibit the police in their sacred mission to impose order would constitute an existential threat to our society.

Deny an intrepid hero in body armor the option of tasing a pregnant woman ? or kicking her in the stomach hard enough to cause the near-term infant to defecate in the womb ? a reign of terror will ensue, with the ?criminal underworld? arising to devour us all.

TSA Forces Woman To Use Naked Body Scanner Three Times Because of "Cute" Figure

New legislation will force TSA to install ?passenger advocates? at every airport
Paul Joseph Watson

Female passengers say they are being targeted by TSA screeners for sexual harassment, with one Texas woman being forced to pass through a naked body scanner three times so chuckling male TSA workers in a back room could get a good look at her ?cute? figure.

The incident occurred at DFW International Airport earlier this month. Wife and mother Ellen Terrell was asked by a female TSA screener ?Do you play tennis?? When Terrell asked why, the screener responded, ?You just have such a cute figure.?

Terrell was then told to go through the naked body scanner not once but a second time. She then heard the TSA screener talking into her microphone saying, ?Come on guys, alright, alright, one more time.?

After Terrell was forced to undergo a third blast of radiation from the body scanner, the male TSA agents in the back room who were obviously enjoying the show tried to send her through yet again to see more images of her naked body.

?Guys, it is not blurry, I'm letting her go. Come on out,? the female TSA screener said, finally ending the ordeal.

"I feel like I was totally exposed," Terrell told CBS 11. "They wanted a nice good look."

An investigation by CBS 11 News has prompted New York Senator Charles Schumer to introduce legislation that will mandate the TSA provide ?passenger advocates? who will be on duty at all times to respond to complaints at every airport in the country.

The investigation found that female travelers are victims of a ?peep show? by TSA workers who are using naked body scanners to target attractive women.

?CBS 11 News dug through more than 500 records of TSA complaints and found a pattern of women who believe that there was nothing random about the way they were selected for extra screening,? states the report, which lists numerous examples of men forcing women to pass through the scanners in a clear pattern of sexual harassment.

"Going through security at our nations airports should not be a humiliating or degrading experience,? remarked Schumer after hearing about the investigation. ?Because the TSA has refused to put passenger advocates at our nation's airports, today I'm introducing legislation that would force them to do so."

However, critics argue that the position would just be filled by another TSA worker, and that such a program will only be worthwhile if the advocate is independent.

A far better solution would be for airports to take advantage of a newly passed law that enables airports to apply to have TSA screeners evicted altogether.

As we have exhaustively documented, TSA workers tasked with operating naked body scanners have found themselves embroiled in an epidemic of criminality, abuses of power, and sexual perversion, with new cases appearing on an almost daily basis.

These people are the least suitable candidates to be providing security at America?s airports, which makes threats by Democrats and people like Joe Lieberman that a ?new 9/11? will occur if the TSA is marginalized all the more asinine.

We all know those TSA perverts are not-a-little-slow in the gray matter. The victim should be grateful they didn't dial the power all the way up and microwave her until she glowed in the dark. What can she expect trying to go thru screening with a "hot" body like that?

TSA / Government Expansion of Scanning / Radiating Citizens

NEXT: Could Outspoken Americans, e.g. writers and Bloggers, Americans that defend the Constitution be deemed ?Belligerents? by U.S. Government?(repeatedly) stopped at Check-Points; searched, questioned, without probable cause or warrants?Indefinitely Detained?

TSA is establishing thousands of national Checkpoints at surface transportation locations. One can?t help recall the Nazi Military and Police established similar checkpoints?harassed, searched and delayed German travelers and repeatedly targeted persons deemed politically undesirable at roadway checkpoints, boarding and riding trains and bus stops: many targeted Citizens were intentionally delayed by Nazi authorities so they would be late or miss work; many lost their jobs.

Germans without probable cause were put on (Nazi Government do not hire lists). Could today?s outspoken Americans e.g. Bloggers that defend the Constitution later be deemed ?Belligerents? by U.S. Government?put on no hire lists; repeatedly stopped, searched and interrogated without probable cause; forced to submit to X-ray scans damaging their health?or Indefinitely Detained?

Had the Nazi Military / Police or Gestapo had X-ray scanners, no doubt the Nazis would have manufactured any reason or no reason to repeatedly x-ray at checkpoints, anywhere?persons the Reich deemed politically or socially undesirable, until either a targeted person was too ill to travel or dead.

One can only guess how much radiation is covertly transmitted into the bodies of Americans by U.S. Government and Police repeated scanning of private homes without warrants; Americans walking on the street; driving vehicles and ?Persons of Interests??potentially damaging their health.

Congress Woman Outraged as She is Wiretapped...But Voted for the Patriot Act

Don?t Cry For Rep. Jane Harmon

It is ironic Rep. Jane Harmon is complaining about being wiretapped by laws?she helped Bush II impose on Americans.

Neither Congress nor the courts?determined if Bush II blanket NSA electronic spying, perhaps illegal?could be used by police or introduced into court by government to prosecute Americans criminally, civilly or administratively. Now the Obama? Justice Department seeks (No-Warrant) surveillance of all domestic electronic communications: if approved by Congress, it is problematic federal, state and local law enforcement and private government contractors will want access to Bush II NSA and other government electronic spying?opening the door for Government / Police to take out of context any innocent?hastily written email, fax or phone call to allege a crime or violation was committed to cause an American?s arrest, fines and or civil asset forfeiture of their property. There are more than 350 laws and violations that can subject property to government asset forfeiture. Government civil asset forfeiture requires only a mere civil preponderance of evidence for police to forfeit property, little more than hearsay.

The Obama Government wants the power without getting a warrant, to introduce as evidence against U.S. Citizens in criminal prosecutions and government civil trials, any electronic communication record?phone calls, fax, email or Internet activity.

The ?Civil Asset Forfeiture Reform Act of 2000? (effectively eliminated) the ?five year statue of limitations? for Government Civil Asset Forfeiture: the new statute now runs five years (from the date) law enforcement alleges they ?learned? an asset became subject to civil asst forfeiture. It is foreseeable if Congress approves (No-Warrant) government electronic surveillance, police will relentlessly sift through Citizen and businesses? (government retained electronic data), Internet activity; emails and phone communications to discover possible crimes or violations. A corrupt U.S. Government too easily may use No-Warrant (seized emails, faxes, Internet Activity phone call and information) to blackmail Americans, corporations and others in similar manner Hitler utilized Germany?s passed police state laws to extort support for the Nazi fascist government; including strong-arming parliament to pass Hitler?s 1933 Discriminatory Decrees and Enabling Act that suspended the Constitutional Freedoms of German Citizens. A Nazi Government threat of ?Asset Forfeiture? of an individual or corporation?s property was generally sufficient to ensure Nazi support.

Under U.S. civil forfeiture laws, a person or business need not be charged with a crime for government to forfeit their property. Most U.S. Citizens; business and property owners that defend their assets against Government Civil Asset Forfeiture claim an ?innocent owner defense.? This defense can become a ?Catch 22? a criminal prosecution trap for both guilty and innocent property owners. Any fresh denial of guilt made to government when questioned about committing a crime ?even when you did not do the crime? may (involuntarily waive) a defendant?s right to assert in their defense?the ?Criminal Statute of Limitations? past for criminal prosecution; any (fresh denial of guilt) even 30 years after a crime was committed may allow Government prosecutors to use old and new evidence, including information discovered during a Civil Asset Forfeiture Proceeding to launch a criminal prosecution. For that reason many innocent Americans, property and business owners are reluctant to defend their property and businesses against Government Civil Asset Forfeiture.

Re: waiving Criminal Statute of Limitations: see USC18, Sec.1001, James Brogan V. United States. N0.96-1579. U.S. See paragraph (6) at:
http://www.law.cornell.edu/supct/html/96-1579.ZC1.html

In "2007 Rep. Jane Harmon introduced the Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act" HR 1955 that called for disrupting political and other groups without evidence of wrongdoing. Had Harman?s bill passed, U.S. Government would have the power to spy on and intimidate Americans from exercising their Constitutional Right to Free Speech and Association. Millions of Americans would fear supporting or attending any political and other ?planned meeting? out of concern they might be labeled a terrorist or supporter of Home Grown Terrorism or Violent Radicalization.

Under Rep. Harman?s "2007 Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act" Government would only have to allege a group member ?Thought about committing violence or damaging property? to label an individual or group ?prone? to committing ?Violent Radicalization or Terrorism. Activists who set up web sites promoting a ?Planned Activity?; wrote, emailed or handed out "flyers" promoting a ?Planned? event or demonstration could be alleged to have inspired Violent Radicalization or Homegrown Terrorism?even if no violence occurred. Demonstrators alleged by police to have blocked a roadway, intimidated drivers, shoppers, employees; or anyone from entering or leaving a place could be accused of coercing government or its people.

Under the Harmon legislation "Information flyers" NOT intended by the author to be distributed by a particular group or at a planned event?but somehow got distributed, could potentially open the door for government to charge the author promoted "Violent Radicalization or Homegrown Terrorism. Such concerns might have crushed written dissent.

The "Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act" mentioned, ?any planned meeting or bodily act in America? against a U.S. foreign alley; no violence was required. For example: American labor unions, human rights and environmental organizations could potentially have been at risk under The "Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act" if they (planned or had meetings in America) to lawfully protest a foreign U.S. alley or networked with or supported foreign activists that intended or protested a U.S. foreign alley. The Harmon bill appeared to criminalize constitutionally protected 1st amendment activities.

Had the Harmon bill passed, U.S. Government, federal and state police would have had little difficulty terminating American activists and organizations exercising their Constitutional Right to Free Speech, Free Association and Expression. Police and Agent Provocateurs could easily destroy e.g. any anti-war group or organization by covertly joining a protest demonstration and instigating violence; informants or police would need only covertly contact participants before, at or after a "planned" meeting or demonstration... then lie, testify a group member committed or intended to commit violence, opening the door for government to allege a group was ideologically based toward violence; supported "Violent Radicalization or Homegrown Terrorism.

Although The 2007 "Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act" Failed To Pass, subsequently in 2012, Congress destroyed and diminished many of Americans? Constitutional Rights passing The National Defense Authorization ACT of 2012 (NDAA). Under NDAA, U.S. Government does not need probable cause or corroborating evidence to Indefinitely Detain Americans without charges on U.S. Soil if suspected of being involved in terrorism or posing a threat to National Security: Indefinitely Detained Americans may have no right to legal counsel, a trial or Habeas Corpus.
