Video Shows Cop Shoot Self While Fumbling With His Gun

Chris | InformationLiberation

A careless police officer fumbling with his gun while off-duty was filmed shooting himself in an elevator after a dinner-date with his wife. The cop is a 25-year-veteran on the force, yet evidently doesn't feel the need to use a safety.

"Riot Control" Drone To Shoot Pepper Spray Bullets At Protesters

Experts slam technology: "deeply disturbing," "will maim and kill"
by Steve Watson

A drone that is capable of firing 400 rounds of pepper spray and paint balls, as well as employing ?blinding lasers? and loudspeakers to deter protesters has been developed and sold to an undisclosed company following a demonstration at a trade show in London.

Reports indicate that an undisclosed mining company in South Africa has purchased 25 of the ?Skunk riot control copter? devices developed by military surveillance and communications contractor?Desert Wolf.

The company?s website describes the drone as being ?equipped with 4 high-capacity paint ball barrels firing at up to 20 bullets per second each, with 80 Pepper bullets per second stopping any crowd in?its tracks.?

?The current hopper capacity of 4000 bullets and High Pressure Carbon Fiber Air system it allows for real stopping power.? the description continues. ?Bright strobe lights, blinding Lasers and with on-board speakers enables communication and warnings to the crowd,? the company also notes.

Defence Web notes?that the eight-rotored drone also has high definition and thermal vision cameras, and comes with a ground control station to be operated by two people.

Desert Wolf?s director, Hennie Kieser, notes that the operators will be monitored by a camera and microphone, to ensure that they are not ? too aggressive?.

Exactly who will be watching them on the camera and listening to them on the microphone is not explained.

The BBC reports?that a batch of the drones is to be deployed this month by mine owners in South Africa, where worker strikes and protests have led to violence.

Desert Wolf says that the drone?s initial deployment will lead to more orders from police and security companies. Technological and worker?s right experts, on the other hand, are not so happy with the development.

?This is a deeply disturbing and repugnant development and we are convinced that any reasonable government will move quickly to stop the deployment of advanced battlefield technology on workers or indeed the public involved in legitimate protests and demonstrations,? said International Trade Union Confederation spokesman Tim Noonan.

?We will be taking this up as a matter of urgency with the unions in the mining sector globally,? he added, vowing to discover exactly who has purchased the machines.

Noel Sharkey, chair of the International Committee for Robot Arms Control campaign group, described the technology as a facilitation of ?creeping authoritarianism and the suppression of protest?.

?Firing plastic balls or bullets from the air will maim and kill,? Sharkey said.

?Using pepper spray against a crowd of protesters is a form of torture and should not be allowed. We urgently need an investigation by the international community before these drones are used.? he added.

Guy Martin, the editor of Defence Web, described the drone as ?a logical next step in the development of UAVs,? adding ?but nevertheless it is a watershed moment in their evolution and goes to show that UAVs have almost unlimited uses.?

?I predict that we will see a whole new wave of UAVs emerging with payloads more unusual than tasers, dart guns and paint ball guns.? Martin added.

Weaponised drones have long been on the horizon.?Both?government?and?private companies?have considered the development of the technology. When a taser drone was developed and displayed by a hobbyist in Texas recently, both military and police departments expressed interest, unaware that it was purely a?publicity stunt aimed at raising awareness of and debate surrounding such technology.

The technology conjures up memories of the flying saucer spy drones from the 1988 dystopian cult classic movie? They Live. Philip K. Dick's?Minority Report?also features drone robots that can administer electrical shocks to suspects. The opening of George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty Four also features the idea of police flying overhead and snooping into homes. With guns fitted to such devices, as these developers have demonstrated, this nightmare vision is set to become a shocking reality.

Police Shoot Man Assembling Toy Gun While Sitting In His Own Car

Chris | InformationLiberation

From the Yakima Herald:

Department spokesman Capt. Rod Light said Casey Gilette, 29, was on a routine patrol about 3 a.m. when he noticed a vehicle had been parked at Classic Auto Wash, 907 E. Nob Hill Blvd., for more than an hour. Light said that based on a preliminary investigation, Gilette approached the vehicle and opened the passenger-side door. He saw a man in the driver?s seat with what appeared to be a handgun and his finger on the trigger. He then fired, Light said.

?Once investigators got on the scene, it was later determined that the handgun was a replica of an actual firearm,? Light said. ?It?s what I would refer to as an Airsoft gun, but they appear very real.?

Airsoft is a trademark name for replica firearms that fire plastic pellets. They are designed to be nonlethal and often come in realistic replicas. Such devices typically have an orange tip at the end of the barrel intended to indicate it is not a real firearm.

?I believe this particular handgun had an orange tip. But based on our investigation I don?t want to go into particulars and details of the position of the gun and where the officer was. It was 3 a.m., it was dark and again we haven?t interviewed this officer yet and we don?t want to speculate,? Light said.

Gilette had another person with him while on patrol, Chief Dominic Rizzi Jr. said Monday afternoon.

?Yes, he did have a ride-along with him, and there?s nothing inappropriate about that,? said Rizzi, who declined to identify the person.

Police have yet to interview Gilette. Under the police union contract with the city, an officer involved in a shooting is not required to give a statement until 48 hours after the incident, although officers may waive that waiting period if they choose to.

Although the investigation is in the preliminary stages, Rizzi said Monday morning that he believes that Gilette acted appropriately.

?Based on the preliminary investigation, I absolutely stand behind the officer and his actions in the shooting that occurred,? Rizzi said.

Light said the investigators believe that Arias was attempting to assemble pieces of the pellet gun, because they found discarded packaging for accessories in the vehicle.

Having a real gun in Washington is not a crime, nor is it grounds for summary execution. This was a toy gun, which the man was said to be assembling within his own car. The officer approached him, opened his door, then executed him. No doubt he'll claim "self-defense" and say he "feared for his life."

Opening the car door is a violation of this man's rights. Hopefully the family will sue for a couple million. Summary execution sums it up well. Police are being "knighted" via FPO/FFO malingering every cop that does this knowing full well they are backed to kill whom ever they like w/o accountability to the victim. Mirrors Inquisition. It's a mistake to let him get away w/this, but people are in some kind of a ha-ha-hapee-ness stupor and just are NOT getting the big picture, my opinion. The fact that someone removes comments no matter what they are is unamerican. Do not suppress or you are part of the problem.

Police Shoot Toothless 16-Year-Old Family Dog During No-Knock Raid

RABUN, AL ? A family feels violated after their home was subject to an unannounced, no-knock raid and their gentle family dog was shot by a deputy.

The all too familiar scenario played out in Alabama as it has thousands of other times throughout the country.?? Deputies intruded into a family residence with no knock, no announcement, and no permission.? The family pet, curious and scared, approached the unwelcome strangers to investigate.? The family pet was shot, and deputies? justified their shoot with claims that the family disputes.

Such was the experience of the Fretwells who live on Stacey Drive in Rabun, Alabama.? On Friday, November 22nd, their aging family companion was shot by a Baldwin County deputy who had entered their home without permission.

?She?s gentle, she has a caring soul, she wouldn?t hurt anything and she never has, we?ve never had this problem ever,? said homeowner Angel Fretwell.

The Fretwells? dog, Belle, is 16 years old, can barely get around, and has lost all of her teeth.

Upon hearing the four strangers in her home she approached deputies.? They claim they had to shoot Belle for fear of their lives when she allegedly came after them.? But the family disputes that claim.? The Fretwells claim that Belle ran before she was shot in the shoulder.

After shooting their pet, deputies wouldn?t let the family care for her for over 1 hour.

They claim to have been searching for a relative of the Fretwells, who was not in the home.

Veterinarians say that Belle has a chance to survive, but will lose her leg and require a $1,000.00 surgery.

Between the use of no-knock raids on family residences and the cowardly shooting of family pets, concerned citizens have a lot to address with the Baldwin County Sheriff?s Office.? Only citizen activism can curb aggressive police tactics and acquire accountability.

?They have to be cautious,? Fretwell said to WPMI Local 15 News.? ?I just think that maybe if they would have announced themselves or give it some kind of warning or anything at that point I think it would?ve helped this situation a lot.?

i don't know why anyone tolerates a no-knock raid,

i don't know why anyone tolerates a roadside cavity search,

i don't know why anyone tolerates having an M4 pointed in their face,

i only know that we are sinning by tolerating it, and will continue to suffer for our sins.

people don't shoot creeps because they are afraid of earthly death, and that is the sin; don't fear earthly death, be willing to give up your earthly life to fight back when evil attacks, everywhere and anywhere it attacks.

you need to know this:

- their souls are already sold to satan, you can not help them

- this is a challenge to YOUR SOUL, YOURS still has a chance to be saved; yes Jesus did die for our sins, and as He said to the prostitute after forgiving her, "go and sin no more", once you believe in Jesus you need to be willing to behave as such, that doesn't mean you'll be perfect but it means you should constantly prepare your mind, heart, and soul, to do the dangerous things when the challenge is put to you.

Pray for courage to stand up against evil and die by evil's hand.
if a challenge comes up and you cowered in fear as Peter denied Christ 3 times, then afterwards repent of this and prepare to not make that same sin the next time. God gives you chances to redeem yourself, but you must prepare your heart/mind/soul or you will fail again.

To police:
your "job" is not to "follow orders", your "job" is to "follow the law", and you are not doing that and you know it. every single one of you is on such thin ice or else you are utterly lost already and nothing you do now will save you. to the rare few who are still on that thin ice - God sees all, God will be Judging you, it is not "sovereign citizens" or such you need to fear, it is GOD that you need to fear.

Someone - anyone - please fight back against home invasions by thugs in costumes. Fighting back is exactly the missing piece the thugs need in order to shoot the whole family. Look what happened when there was manhunt for Dorner - they were opening fire at the cars at the highway, and it was all "justified".

We live in democratic society, and what needs to happen next is public officials losing or seriously risking their political careers.

@nonymous 208163 comprehends the dialect. The mention of Dorner, does give me cause for concern, however, no network node in their right mind, would bring up the past....so, presumably, 208163 is deprogrammed?

@nonymous 208163, do you know the true reason, for Dorner's murder?

Q: @nonymous 18443, about a year ago, weren't you the person who posted that there would be a "special place in hell for all of us"?

@208163
"We live in democratic society, and what needs to happen next is
public officials losing or seriously risking their political careers."
Ha ! So many Americans STILL clinging to that "domocracy" crap , it's no wonder the powers -that-be continue to treat you like they do . Turkeys don't vote for christmas , the elites ain't gonna relinquish power without a fight , time to step up to the plate & be counted my friends . Good luck ? It will continue to get worse until stopped. Power so corrupt as the government will not return power to the people. There is no chance for a police officer to remain honest. The first time he fails to report a fellow officers breaking the law he becomes just another crooked cop.

"If We Have To Get A Warrant... We're Gonna Shoot & Kill Your Dogs... Ransack Your House"

Chris | InformationLiberation

A Kansas lawyer says cops told him if he doesn't let them search his home despite not having a warrant they would come back with one and bust into his home with a battering ram, kill his dogs, and then ransack his house.

The cops were searching for two suspects believed to be violating their parole, evidently they felt the men were hiding in this stranger's home. When Eric Crinnian refused to let the cops search his house, he says one officer threatened him saying, ?If we have to get a warrant, we?re going to come back when you?re not expecting it, we?re going to park in front of your house, where all your neighbors can see, we?re gonna bust in your door with a battering ram, we?re gonna shoot and kill your dogs, who are my family, and then we?re going to ransack your house looking for these people.?

Crinnian still refused despite their intimidation and filed a complaint with the police. The police department said they won't comment on an ongoing investigation.

Cops Shoot Texas Homeowner Dead After He Kills Intruder

A career criminal broke into a neglected-looking Far East Dallas home Thursday night thinking the homeowner had died and his belongings were there for the taking, police said.

But the homeowner, William Keith Hall, wasn?t dead after all. He shot the burglar, Jerry Wayne Hale, then stood over him in an alley with a gun in hand, police said. Hall told Hale, 30, that he wanted to shoot him again.

When police arrived, Hall pointed the 9 mm pistol ? which had stopped working ? at them and witnesses. Officers ordered Hall to drop his weapon and when he refused, they fatally shot the 57-year-old man.

Maj. Jeff Cotner of the crimes against persons division said Friday that responding officers didn?t realize in all the chaos that Hall was defending his home in the 10300 block of Sandra Lynn Drive.

But Cotner said Hall ?had plenty of opportunities to de-escalate? the situation.

?He was given plenty of notice, and he didn?t choose a path other than to confront officers,? Cotner said.

Police received a 911 call around 7:45 p.m. Thursday from a contractor working on a nearby house. The caller told police about the shooting and said that when witnesses got near Hall, he pointed a gun at them and ?tried to shoot? them. Cotner said Hall repeatedly tried to manipulate the gun?s jammed slide to fire it again, but to no avail.

Such a misleading headline - shame on you. Cops were in the right for a change. yeah right, i am sure the cops tell accurate stories after they kill the witness. cops will always cover their tracks in the most cowardly fashion. not a chance i believe their side of this. I had to read and re-read that a few times to make sure I was getting the story straight. Finally I just went to the article source.

Strange story with no winners, and I'm not sure what informationliberation is trying to 'prove' or demonstrate with this particular story.

It's not like he was some civic-minded patriot homeowner who was in his right mind. ...

"Humphrey (witness) also told Hall that police were on the way. The contractor told Channel 8 that Hall replied, ?Good, I?ll shoot them, too.?"

In Texas they should just abolish the police. Most people in
Texas are self sufficient. Again in this story police are liars of course the police can say whatever they want and find witnesses to lie for them doesn't matter at the end they killed their victim. I hate police abuse with a passion, and there is MORE than enough, way more, that is sickening and bad, but I gotta agree with 8199, THIS instance, from the information, was not abuse. They didn't have a lot of choice and if the victims actions are described correctly, it's unfortunate but not in the same league as the other abuses documented here all the time. 97119, you've gone too far then. If you don't believe ANYTHING no matter what is reported, you are as bad as those idiots that when confronted with real police abuse (which is abundant) always chime in "I'm sure there is MORE to the story than this, they don't just taze/shoot/beat a man for no reason you know"

This is every bit as bad, not constructive, and pretty lame actually. Your comment is meaningless at that point. It would be another thing to say "it sounds legit this time, from what is reported, but this might not be all the evidence" but not a chance...eh?

The headline is from Fox News and it is factually correct. Oh sure, but misleading.

How about: "Police Kill Disturbed Man"

That seems factually correct as well. I suppose a nitpicker could charge that it makes the man sound like the agressor.

Hmmm. How about:

"Disturbed Man Dies Defending Self from Police"
"Police Shoot Killer"
"Man Defends Self, Killed by Police"

They're all factually accurate, aren't they?

"Cops Shoot Texas Homeowner Dead After He Kills Intruder"

Oh, wait that's the actual title. Hmmmm.....

See, all those titles I made up, and the real one as well, comprise examples of what is called "slant". The title tells you what to expect, and based on the actual title, what you expect is that the brute police killed a poor innocent homeowner, who was merely defending himself.

How about this:

"Police Forced to Kill Man Who Became Disturbed After Killing Intruder"

That probably would lead you to expect something more like what the real story seems to be.

@20138 It is extreme to say that I do not believe anything at all that is reported. But it is not extreme to say that I do not believe any story the way that they report it. They are masters at weaving the truth with lies. I will always question every story this regime pumps out. If that is just too much for you then, oh well, that is how I function.

Eyewitness Records Santa Ana Officer Shoot, Kill Unarmed Homeless Man Who Called Her 'Bitch'

SANTA ANA (CBSLA.com) ? An eyewitness recorded cellphone video of a Santa Ana police officer shoot and kill an unarmed 22-year-old homeless man at a shopping center earlier this week.

The witness, who wished to remain unidentified, was standing in the parking lot of the Harbor Place Shopping Center on South Harbor Boulevard around 3 p.m. Tuesday when he said he filmed a confrontation in front of Jugo?s La Tropicana between an officer, later identified as a 13-year veteran, and victim Hans Kevin Arellano.

?She exited her patrol car, gun drawn, and asked the gentlemen to get on the ground. The gentlemen didn?t get on the ground, he was still inside the restaurant. She asked again. The man then exited the restaurant, and as he was exiting the restaurant, he said, ?What are you gonna do, b?-?? About a second later, she shot him in the chest,? he said.

Why do we allow these dangerous, egotistical criminals to infest our lives? Disband this gang of theives, murderers, rapists, and bullies. Illegal activity? Really?
Okey, sure.
Just kill the man.
Cause he called her a bitch.
What a ... this country needs a civil war in response to atrocities committed by law enforcement yet people revere and fear law enforcement law they are gods among us. If citizens started striking back at cops like you can on grand theft auto video games maybe they would stop being so brazen. Code 10-00 is the law thing cops fear and respect. most cops just have a level II vest, and unarmored car yet people revere them and fear them like their gods or something. Look how easy cops go down on a game like PayDay or GTA.

They don't respect you, your civil rights or your human rights. If police unlawfully attack you, you have the right to defend yourself and return fire yet no one ever does. In the military dictatorship of california, people need to start defending themselves yet they dont. this cop who murdered this homeless in a better world would become a code 10-00 because the people would not put up with such crimes against humanity.

As pacifist and afraid of law enforcement people are today, the american revolutionary war could never have happened because people would be so afraid of King George's troops/cops/peace officers that everyone would have bowed the knee in fear and ones who signed the decleration of independence would just been hung and this country would not be independent. Though as tyrannical as california police act today, one no longer say they have rights or live under a government they respects freedom or the bill of rights.

Deputies Climb Through Window Into Couple's Home Without A Warrant, Hold Them At Gunpoint & Shoot Their Two Dogs

Chris | InformationLiberation

A Warrington, Florida couple was asleep in their bed when a group of Escambia County sheriff's deputies climbed into their home without a warrant, held them at gunpoint, cursed at them, threw a woman to the ground, cuffed them, then entered their bedroom and proceeded to shoot their two dogs, hurting one so badly he had to be euthanized and injuring the other with a bullet to his leg, the Pensacola News Journal reports.

Deputies justified the home invasion of Cristina Moses, 32, and her fiance, Travis Nicholas, 22, by saying they were looking for a suspect who they believed may have entered the home and they wanted "to assure the safety of the occupants.?

In fact, the occupants' safety was threatened only by the deputies, one of their dogs is now dead and their house covered in blood. Ironically, their dog is now dead because the officers were seeking to assure their own safety, not that of the occupants, because "officer safety" is always paramount.

After entering their home through their window, the couple says the deputies held them at gunpoint, Cristina was thrown to the ground while being cursed at, they were both placed in handcuffs, and the cops held them down by placing their boots on their back and arms. One deputy, who they identified as Deputy Mikel Anthony Lee, then allegedly went into their bedroom and shot two of their dogs.

The deputies' statement says, "One dog bit at one of the deputy?s leg. He pushed the dog away, but it came at him again so he shot the dog in self-defense, at which time the second dog began to run towards him. For his personal safety, he shot the second dog.?

As the Pensacola News Journal notes, their statement stops short of saying the dog actually bit the officer, meaning there is no actual evidence of the dogs' alleged aggression.

The couple contradicts their claims and says the deputy entered their bedroom and shot their dogs from the "opposite side" of the room. Video of the crime scene shows the edge of the couple's bed full of bullet holes, this is consistent with their story the officer tried to shoot the dogs from a distance and the dogs were trying to use the bed as "shelter" from the bullets.

After deputies placed Cristina in a patrol car for more than an hour because she "wouldn't shut up" and stop asking what happened to her dogs, she and Travis were eventually let go without charges.

"Gracie" the one year-old pit bull ultimately had to be euthanized due to being riddled with bullets. Cristina wells up in tears recounting the tragic incident and she says she feels "like my child has died."

The Escambia County sheriff's deputies meanwhile are stonewalling, they say they won't talk or release any further details until they're done with their "investigation" of themselves. The deputies involved were placed on paid leave.

This is why we need to start killing them dead when they break the law. fucking monsters Question: What do terrorists, home invaders and Escambia County deputies have in common?
Answer: They use the same toothbrush in the morning.
when was the last time you heard of a cop comming in through a window instead of breaking down the door? there is something else going on here. there is always something else going on when cops are involved.problem is most of the time it is the cops imagination gone wacko and the citizens pay the price every way you can think of.205213 good point, one way or the other. I don't suppose it occurred to Sherlock Holmes or any of the rest of these deputies that the room with the pit bulls in it probably didn't contain an intruder! They were obviously up to something else. I suspect they were going to burglarize the place and didn't realize anyone was home. That's why they were angry and cursing the occupants, because the homeowner presence spoiled their action and reduced their take for the night. If the sheriff department brass don't take these idiots badges away, it means they're in on it... Whenever I hear a cop has been shot, situations like this is why I feel it was probably justified. The couple should sue the department for around 20 million in damages, and if allowed under Florida law, sue the dickhead deputies personally for their entire net worth. Scumbags who abuse their positions of authority are no better than Nazi Stormtroopers, and should be regarded as such. The answer is vigilante justice. Interpret from this your own definitions and actionable solutions, but it's all that is left when LE "professionals" shoot, beat, and murder people, kill their pets for sport, kidnap and then abuse their children, and destroy their property with impunity. The War on the US Citizen, waged by not only these local thug "police" / gangster organizations but also a parasitic and criminal federal government at large, leading by "shining" example--via extortion, their possession of a monopoly on violence, fear-mongering, and the terrorist tactics they employ--and fully funded by us (the victims), has been underway for some time. When will we respond in some constructive manner? The not-in-my-backyard zeitgeist / philosophy of today (and the abhorrent detachment and apathy it excuses in too many of our minds) simply won't do. Protests have failed. Lawsuits have likewise failed to affect wack LE policy and the seemingly acceptable criminal behavior by officeholders. Elections / a belief in the myth of the two party system (AKA: the illusion of choice) have failed, too. Our "representatives" in government mock and patronize us from on high, appealing only to our differences in an obvious effort to divide us as a People. What's left? What sort of a "society" do we wish to have here? Anybody see the worldwide trend toward fascism speeding up all over again? WTF? What will we leave behind for our children if we do nothing? Did we have children just to drop them in an experimental Hell we allowed to develop right under our noses? What is the statute of limitations on using ignorance as an excuse for failure? Still worse, denial? And now what: fear? No, it just won't do. america is now mexico.

you'd better stand up for your damn selves, i am increasingly convinced that TWO different types of sins keep occurring in america:

1 - violent aggressors violating God's laws

2 - victims sinning by taking it.
they do this understandably out of fear of their earthly lives - but as a Christian you will have to be willing to give up your life to do what is right. until you do, this will continue and will increase.

Police Chief Attempts to Shoot Dog, Hits Woman Instead

Chris | InformationLiberation

Winston-Salem's incoming police chief Barry Rountree allegedly found himself being confronted by an aggressive dog while responding to a dangerous weapons call, MyFox8 reports. The aspiring new Chief went to shoot the dog, failed, and hit a woman instead after his bullet ricocheted.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. ? The woman shot Wednesday by incoming Winston-Salem Police Chief Barry Rountree says he did not immediately come to help her after she was shot.

?He did not come to me. He backed away,? says Tamara Whitt after being released from the hospital. ?He just backed up and I saw the cell phone come out ? he walked across the street over there by that car over there and he was on his phone ? and I told the SBI he did not come to me.?

Investigators say Rountree shot Whitt in the leg after responding to a dangerous weapon call at 124 North Jackson Ave. around 1:30 p.m, after a 911 caller reported a man was standing on the porch with a large gun pointed at another person.

Rountree and Officer Mohammed Khan, responded to the scene stationing themselves behind Khan?s vehicle.

Whitt, who lives nearby, says her boxer dog ?Lebrone? heard the officers and went down the driveway as she followed.? In a Winston-Salem Police Dept. news release investigators say the dog ran toward Rountree and Khan, acting in an ?aggressive manner.? Rountree attempted to shoot the dog, but his bullet hit the pavement and struck Whitt.

?The dog was closer to me than the officer, that?s where this whole thing is just out of hand,? said Whitt who questions why Rountree fired his gun while she was near the dog. ?I wasn?t expecting the gun to be fired because I was right there.? Whitt also says her dog is ?very passive? and ?not aggressive.?

According to police, the round struck the pavement ricocheted and bullet fragments struck Whitt. Whitt says the entire 40 caliber bullet is inside her left thigh and doctors say it?s too dangerous to remove.

Whitt says officer Khan immediately radioed for help and came to her aid, but it wasn?t until after Rountree finished his phone call that he walked over to ask if she was ok.

?I just hope that the SBI does a good investigation and really sees if he really deserve to be our police [chief] because I honestly thought that was a rookie mistake.?

Lebrone -?the family dog, is ok and in the custody of Forsyth County Animal Control.

Watch the video report:

Since this report came out, the chief's fellow government employees in the SBI who "investigated" the incident quickly found him not guilty (shocker), meaning he will officially be Winston-Salem's new police chief!

The pig chief should be shot in the balls. The dog was doing his job but the pig chief was not. If it was me SWAT would have had to be called and there would be blood shed. F*ck this country's Fascist cops and politicians, time to go to war! YOU GOD DAMNED ROOKIE. SUSPENSION WITHOUT PAY. ON TO THE NEXT COUNTY YOU INCOMPETENT JACK WAGON Reptilian's are afraid of dogs. Or is it reptile brains? She seriously wanted him to come "help" her after he just shot her? Please sir give me another. In the "let them know who's boss and scare the daylights out of the citizens program," Chief Rountree only gets one point for this shooting. Missed the dog entirely, and only got a bank shot on the woman. He needs to practice.
Maybe give him another half a point for style though, since he was cool enough to not let such a trivial matter distract him as he stepped across the street to check on if his lotto ticket was a winner. I want every cop to know this: you shoot my dog you die. This is that simple. Many people think like me. So if you contenplate shooting any dog you might have better to reconsider because it might cost your live in the end. May be it would be simpler just to shoot yourself in the head instead? They best kill me first. Once I see my dogs dead I'll dump ng into the house and blow the fuckin' whole block to hel! Cross-eyed shooting causes collateral damage

Political Assassination Prevented In Rome As Unemployed Man Tries To "Shoot Politicians"

by Tyler Durden

While suicides out of desperation had long been a tragic, if recurring, staple in depressionary Europe, so far popular anger had been directed at within, with few if any murderous outbursts targeted at other people, and certainly not at politicians (or financiers). This obviously has been a critical aspect of the current economic collapse in Europe - one needs but recall that it was a political assassination that sparked World War I in Sarajevo, and indirectly, via the Weimar collapse of Germany, set the stage for World War II, leading to the death of tens of millions around the globe. Today we came close. As the AP reports, during today's swearing in ceremony of Italy's new pseudo-technocrat yet anti-austerity government which has the blessings of Berlusconi, an "unemployed Italian gunman shot and seriously wounded two policemen Sunday in a square outside the premier's office in Rome, but he "wanted to shoot politicians," Rome prosecutor Pierfilippo Laviani said.

"Shots rang out in Chigi Square near a busy shopping and strolling area shortly after 11:30 a.m. just as Italy's new government -- Premier Enrico Letta and his new ministers -- were taking their oaths at the Quirinal presidential office, about a half-mile away. The suspected gunman, dressed in a dark business suit, was immediately grabbed by other police in the square, wrestled to the ground and taken away. Laviani, who later questioned the alleged assailant, said the man "wanted to shoot politicians, but given that he couldn't reach any, he shot the Carabinieri" police. Laviani added that the man "confessed everything," but didn't appear mentally unbalanced."

From AP:

The shooting "was the tragic gesture of an unemployed man," Interior Minister Angelino Alfano also told reporters after briefing Letta and his new Cabinet about the attack.

...

Alfano said the alleged gunman -- 49-year-old Luigi Preiti -- wanted to kill himself after the shooting but ran out of bullets. He said six shots were fired.

Italian media reports said the assailant was from southern Calabria and had lived for several years in northern Italy before moving back to Calabria after his marriage fell apart.

Sky TG24 TV quoted the man's brother as saying the alleged attacker had lost his job in a construction firm and was upset over marital problems.

This time only innocent policemen were shot. What about next time? Surely the socio-economic situation of the assailant is not in any way unique in Italy or any other depressionary European countries, of which there are many. And it doesn't take much for any one person, hope crushed and money gone, to go so far beyond the metaphorical ledge, that they are willing to die but not before taking some politicians with them.

More :

A woman passing by during the shooting was also slightly injured, Rome's mayor said. It was unclear if she was grazed by a bullet or hurt in the panic sparked by the gunfire.

It was not immediately clear if the shooting outside the Chigi Palace, which houses the premier's office and other government offices, was timed to coincide with the swearing-in ceremony. But tensions have been running high in Italy following inconclusive elections in February that left the country mired in political deadlock amid a deep recession.

The 46-year-old Letta nailed down a coalition deal only a day ago between two bitter political enemies -- his center-left forces and the conservative bloc of ex-Premier Silvio Berlusconi.

Reporters inside the Chigi Palace press office heard the shots and raced outside. An AP television producer saw the two wounded Carabinieri officers in the square outside the palace. One of them lay on the pavement with blood pouring out of his neck.

...

Security was immediately stepped up near key venues in the Italian capital, but Alfano said authorities were not worried about related attacks.

"The general situation of public order is not causing any worry," he said. "Our initial investigation indicates the incident is due to an isolated gesture, although further investigations are being carried out."

Doctors at Rome's Umberto I Polyclinic said the more seriously injured of the two police officers was a 50-year-old brigadier. They told reporters that a bullet had entered the right side of the officer's neck, damaged his spinal column and was lodged near his shoulder.

The doctors said it wasn't yet known if the spinal column injury had caused any paralysis.

The other victim was a 30-year-old officer who was shot in the leg and had suffered a fracture, hospital officials said.

Preiti was taken to another Rome hospital. News reports said a protective collar was seen around the man's neck.

An aide to Foreign Minister Emma Bonino told reporters at the presidential palace that the new Cabinet members were kept briefly inside for security reasons until it was clear there was no immediate danger.

The new Cabinet ministers were seen smiling in a group photo as news of the shooting broke and it was apparent they weren't immediately aware of the attack.

"The news arrived after the swearing-in," said Dario Franceschini, one of the new ministers. `'Premier Letta is following the situation."

Metal fencing closes off Chigi Square, which flanks Via del Corso, one of Rome's most popular streets with strollers. The public can cross the square by showing identification, and sometimes people can cross it without being stopped. It was unclear if the assailant had asked permission to enter the square.

Rome was jammed Sunday with tourists and residents enjoying a warm sunny morning on the last day of a four-day weekend.

All of this goes back to the bigger picture: for now the myth of the solvent welfare state, both in Europe and the US, has been successful at keeping the broader population within acceptable limits of docility, with only occasional bursts of murderous rage, either accompanied by terrorist intentions or not. Yet as every passing day demonstrates to the public that just like the stock market and the global economy, so too the welfare net is one big ponzi which is just as insolvent as every other aspect of the "developed" west, how long before political assassination attempts either in Rome, or everywhere else where a demoralized public just sees no other way out, become the norm?

And how many policemen will be taken down as they protect a regime which has no other mathematical option but to fail?

Finally, as noted earlier, it was a political assassination that set off the WWI dominoes some 100 years ago.

Will this time not be any different either as history once again repeats itself?

CBO: Taxes Will *Shoot Up by More Than 30 Percent* Over Next 2 Years

By Terence P. Jeffrey

(CNSNews.com) - The amount of money the federal government takes out of the U.S. economy in taxes will increase by more than 30 percent between 2012 and 2014, according to the Budget and Economic Outlook published today by the CBO.

At the same time, according to CBO, the economy will remain sluggish, partly because of higher taxes.

"In particular, between 2012 and 2014, revenues in CBO's baseline shoot up by more than 30 percent," said CBO, "mostly because of the recent or scheduled expirations of tax provisions, such as those that lower income tax rates and limit the reach of the alternative minimum tax (AMT), and the imposition of new taxes, fees, and penalties that are scheduled to go into effect."

The U.S. economy, CBO projects, will perform "below its potential" for another six years and unemployment will remain above 7 percent for another three.

Owners Angry After Cops Shoot Dog in Backyard

A mother and daughter are livid after a Miami-Dade police officer shot and killed their pet dog despite warnings not to go on the property.

Police were responding to a burglar alarm at the home near Hialeah when the incident occurred, Det. Edna Del Castillo said.[...]

"'Be careful. It?s a big dog,' I told them. They told me to go back to my house," said Perez, who repeated the warning several more times. "Before I get to my driveway, I hear the two shots. They walked into the backyard with the guns in their hand. Then they ran from the backyard like they were scared or something."

When Should You Shoot A Cop

by Larken Rose, CopBlock.org

That question, even without an answer, makes most ?law-abiding taxpayers? go into knee-jerk conniptions. The indoctrinated masses all race to see who can be first, and loudest, to proclaim that it is NEVER okay to forcibly resist ?law enforcement.? In doing so, they also inadvertently demonstrate why so much of human history has been plagued by tyranny and oppression.

In an ideal world, cops would do nothing except protect people from thieves and attackers, in which case shooting a cop would never be justified. In the real world, however, far more injustice, violence, torture, theft, and outright murder has been committed IN THE NAME of ?law enforcement,? than has been committed in spite of it. To get a little perspective, try watching a documentary or two about some of the atrocities committed by the regimes of Stalin, or Lenin, or Chairman Mao, or Hitler, or Pol Pot, or any number of other tyrants in history. Pause the film when the jackboots are about to herd innocent people into cattle cars, or gun them down as they stand on the edge of a ditch, and THEN ask yourself the question, ?When should you shoot a cop?? Keep in mind, the evils of those regimes were committed in the name of ?law enforcement.? And as much as the statement may make people cringe, the history of the human race would have been a lot LESS gruesome if there had been a lot MORE ?cop-killers? around to deal with the state mercenaries of those regimes.
