Florida Man Arrested after Video Recording Deputies Mishandling Checkpoint

By Carlos Miller

A Florida man who regularly video records DUI checkpoints to ensure police are operating in compliance of the law was arrested Friday night, moments after he had recorded Hillsborough County deputies falling out of compliance, which he believes may have been to wave a fellow cop through the checkpoint without having to be checked for sobriety.

Even if there was no cop in the car that was allowed to pass through, it created enough of an inconsistency from the predetermined protocol to make all the other stops from?that night unconstitutional.

And that is probably why they wanted him removed.

Wally Sullivan, 59, ?was stripped of his camera and handcuffed , then transported to the sheriff?s office where he was fingerprinted and released within an hour.

They kept his camera as ?evidence,? even though they had no legal right to do so considering he is not being accused of using his camera in the commission of a crime.

They didn?t realize he had another camera in a pouch around his neck, which is from where the posted videos come from; the top video being the shortened version, the bottom video the extended version, well worth the 30 minutes.

Deputies Caught Dumping Name Tags

You know a police force is bent when its officers start dumping their name tags. That's what happened before an illegal traffic stop in Malheur County, Oregon. The Malheur County Sheriff's Department has a sweetheart deal with the infamously cruel Big Loop Rodeo, in the remote and dying town of Jordan Valley, Oregon.

Article link: http://www.boiseweekly.com/CityDesk/archives/2013/08/15/video-animal-rights-activist-traffic-stop-subject-of-fbi-probe

The traffic stop was illegal, but prompted by the Big Loop Rodeo board, because the board members are afraid of being exposed for committing terrible animal abuse. As their own police dash camera proves, the deputies knew what they were doing was wrong, but they did it anyway. They apparently believed that hiding their identities would help protect their misdeeds.

Apparently these guys need to watch more John Wayne movies. The crooks are supposed to wear scarves over their faces, not take off their badges.

Oregon Deputies Caught on Dash Cam Acknowledging Illegal Traffic Stop

By Carlos Miller

Here is a perfect example of why we should all learn the public records law in our respective states and use them to our full advantage.

Last May, animal rights activist Steve Hindi was kicked out of an Oregon rodeo for trying to video record after they had hastily posted up signs saying it was not allowed, then announcing on the loudspeaker that only locals would be allowed to video record.

Hindi, founder of Showing Animals Respect and Kindness (SHARK), had flown into town to bail out another animal rights activist who had been arrested at the rodeo the previous day for video recording.

That activist,?Adam Fahnestock, was arrested by Malheur County sheriff deputy Bob Wroten ? who happens to sit on the board of the Jordan Valley Big Loop Rodeo ? which is an obvious conflict of interest.

Nevertheless, it is a private venue and many would agree that they can create their own rules, even if it means opening it to the public for an admission price, then selectively deciding who gets to video record.

So Hindi didn?t bother arguing with them about getting kicked out. But he also didn?t bother providing identification when they asked for it because he knew they had no legal basis to do so.?He just got in his car and drove off.

But then he realized he was being followed by a Malheur County sheriff?s deputy, who pulled him over more than ten miles away from the rodeo on the basis that he had not provided identification back at the rodeo.

Anybody can see it was a bullshit traffic stop. Even the deputies themselves knew it was a bullshit traffic stop, according to a conversation between two deputies recorded on their dash cam as they pulled him over.

Hindi obtained the video through a public records request and posted it on Youtube, which you can see above. Here is a sampling of their conversation:

"I didn't want to stop the man."

"God, we're going to get sued."

'We're going to be in a world of hurt."

It's all because of that rodeo board."

"DAMMIT, I was still recording."

Call?the Malheur County Sheriff?s Department at (541) 473-5510 or email the sheriff at ?Malheur County Sheriff Brian Wolfe.

And call Malheur County District Attorney Dan Norris at (541) 473-5127 or email him at?Malheur County District Attorney Dan Norris.

Disgraceful behavior of the Malheur County Sheriff's. Discusting actions by the Jordan Valley rodeo board.

The Sheriff should be indicted for conspiracy and Ricco charges.
Also, the Malheur County District Attorney for complicity for covering for all the unlawful acts by the sheriff's and rodeo board Malheur County Oregon Sheriff's and the Jordan Valley Big Loop Rodeo plus Malheur County District Attorney Dan Norris equals another blatently corrupt small town in America where the police and District Attorneys have swelled heads and small p.....

Deputies Climb Through Window Into Couple's Home Without A Warrant, Hold Them At Gunpoint & Shoot Their Two Dogs

Chris | InformationLiberation

A Warrington, Florida couple was asleep in their bed when a group of Escambia County sheriff's deputies climbed into their home without a warrant, held them at gunpoint, cursed at them, threw a woman to the ground, cuffed them, then entered their bedroom and proceeded to shoot their two dogs, hurting one so badly he had to be euthanized and injuring the other with a bullet to his leg, the Pensacola News Journal reports.

Deputies justified the home invasion of Cristina Moses, 32, and her fiance, Travis Nicholas, 22, by saying they were looking for a suspect who they believed may have entered the home and they wanted "to assure the safety of the occupants.?

In fact, the occupants' safety was threatened only by the deputies, one of their dogs is now dead and their house covered in blood. Ironically, their dog is now dead because the officers were seeking to assure their own safety, not that of the occupants, because "officer safety" is always paramount.

After entering their home through their window, the couple says the deputies held them at gunpoint, Cristina was thrown to the ground while being cursed at, they were both placed in handcuffs, and the cops held them down by placing their boots on their back and arms. One deputy, who they identified as Deputy Mikel Anthony Lee, then allegedly went into their bedroom and shot two of their dogs.

The deputies' statement says, "One dog bit at one of the deputy?s leg. He pushed the dog away, but it came at him again so he shot the dog in self-defense, at which time the second dog began to run towards him. For his personal safety, he shot the second dog.?

As the Pensacola News Journal notes, their statement stops short of saying the dog actually bit the officer, meaning there is no actual evidence of the dogs' alleged aggression.

The couple contradicts their claims and says the deputy entered their bedroom and shot their dogs from the "opposite side" of the room. Video of the crime scene shows the edge of the couple's bed full of bullet holes, this is consistent with their story the officer tried to shoot the dogs from a distance and the dogs were trying to use the bed as "shelter" from the bullets.

After deputies placed Cristina in a patrol car for more than an hour because she "wouldn't shut up" and stop asking what happened to her dogs, she and Travis were eventually let go without charges.

"Gracie" the one year-old pit bull ultimately had to be euthanized due to being riddled with bullets. Cristina wells up in tears recounting the tragic incident and she says she feels "like my child has died."

The Escambia County sheriff's deputies meanwhile are stonewalling, they say they won't talk or release any further details until they're done with their "investigation" of themselves. The deputies involved were placed on paid leave.

This is why we need to start killing them dead when they break the law. fucking monsters Question: What do terrorists, home invaders and Escambia County deputies have in common?
Answer: They use the same toothbrush in the morning.
when was the last time you heard of a cop comming in through a window instead of breaking down the door? there is something else going on here. there is always something else going on when cops are involved.problem is most of the time it is the cops imagination gone wacko and the citizens pay the price every way you can think of.205213 good point, one way or the other. I don't suppose it occurred to Sherlock Holmes or any of the rest of these deputies that the room with the pit bulls in it probably didn't contain an intruder! They were obviously up to something else. I suspect they were going to burglarize the place and didn't realize anyone was home. That's why they were angry and cursing the occupants, because the homeowner presence spoiled their action and reduced their take for the night. If the sheriff department brass don't take these idiots badges away, it means they're in on it... Whenever I hear a cop has been shot, situations like this is why I feel it was probably justified. The couple should sue the department for around 20 million in damages, and if allowed under Florida law, sue the dickhead deputies personally for their entire net worth. Scumbags who abuse their positions of authority are no better than Nazi Stormtroopers, and should be regarded as such. The answer is vigilante justice. Interpret from this your own definitions and actionable solutions, but it's all that is left when LE "professionals" shoot, beat, and murder people, kill their pets for sport, kidnap and then abuse their children, and destroy their property with impunity. The War on the US Citizen, waged by not only these local thug "police" / gangster organizations but also a parasitic and criminal federal government at large, leading by "shining" example--via extortion, their possession of a monopoly on violence, fear-mongering, and the terrorist tactics they employ--and fully funded by us (the victims), has been underway for some time. When will we respond in some constructive manner? The not-in-my-backyard zeitgeist / philosophy of today (and the abhorrent detachment and apathy it excuses in too many of our minds) simply won't do. Protests have failed. Lawsuits have likewise failed to affect wack LE policy and the seemingly acceptable criminal behavior by officeholders. Elections / a belief in the myth of the two party system (AKA: the illusion of choice) have failed, too. Our "representatives" in government mock and patronize us from on high, appealing only to our differences in an obvious effort to divide us as a People. What's left? What sort of a "society" do we wish to have here? Anybody see the worldwide trend toward fascism speeding up all over again? WTF? What will we leave behind for our children if we do nothing? Did we have children just to drop them in an experimental Hell we allowed to develop right under our noses? What is the statute of limitations on using ignorance as an excuse for failure? Still worse, denial? And now what: fear? No, it just won't do. america is now mexico.

you'd better stand up for your damn selves, i am increasingly convinced that TWO different types of sins keep occurring in america:

1 - violent aggressors violating God's laws

2 - victims sinning by taking it.
they do this understandably out of fear of their earthly lives - but as a Christian you will have to be willing to give up your life to do what is right. until you do, this will continue and will increase.

Los Angeles Deputies Kill Armed Man, 80, in Marijuana Raid

by Phillip Smith

Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies shot and killed an armed 80-year-old man as they served a search warrant on a marijuana grow operation in a remote part of the county early Thursday morning. The as yet unnamed man becomes the 19th person to die in US domestic drug law enforcement operations so far this year, and the fourth in the past week.

According to NBC Los Angeles, deputies were serving a "narcotics" search warrant at the multi-unit rural property in the desert community of Littlerock at 7:30am. Lt. Dave Dolson told the TV station deputies entered the home through an unlocked front door, and one deputy fired when they encountered a man armed with a handgun. The man, who may have been the property owner, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Later Thursday afternoon, the Sheriff's Department released a statement on the killing.

"When deputies approached a rear bedroom at the location, they encountered an 80-year-old male who was armed with a semi-automatic handgun. The suspect pointed the handgun at the deputies and a deputy-involved shooting occurred," the statement read.

Deputies recovered the gun, marijuana, and growing equipment at the home where the man was shot. Residents who lived in other units on the property were detained, but later released.

The shooting will be investigated separately by several agencies, including the offices of the Los Angeles County District Attorney and Coroner, and the Sheriff's Homicide and Internal Affairs bureaus.

Friend of man killed by Lake deputies said he was a 'happy go lucky guy'

By Erica Rodriguez and Elo?sa Ruano Gonz?lez, Orlando Sentinel

A 26-year-old pizza deliveryman shot and killed by a Lake County deputy was a "happy?go-lucky guy" who likely was simply trying to protect himself when deputies knocked on his door, his boss and friend said Monday.

[...]Scott worked for two years at Hungry Howie's Pizza in Leesburg, where he was known to joke around and could be trusted to run the store, said store owner Pat Casalaspro, a friend of Scott's. Scott worked late Saturday, he said, and had plans to watch movies with his live-in girlfriend that night. He said Scott probably didn't know who was outside and answered the door holding a gun.

"I guarantee you he was trying to protect himself," Casalaspro said, adding that Scott was not confrontational.

[...]The Florida Civil Rights Association in Orlando said it plans to look into the shooting to determine if deputies used excessive force. J. Willie David III, association president, called for the Sheriff's Office to adopt a policy "that requires its deputies to identify themselves when attempting to gain access to an individual's home."

Photographer Suing L.A. Sheriff's Dept. Detained Again For Photographing Deputies

by Carlos Miller

A pair of bullying Los Angeles sheriff?s deputies detained a photographer who snapped their picture on Hollywood Blvd, accusing him of all kinds of false crimes before handcuffing him, then searching through his camera bag without consent.

Shawn Nee ? who already has a pending lawsuit against the sheriff?s department for violating his rights as a photographer ? once again captured the incident on his Vievu camera, exposing a disgusting show of brute intimidation.

The deputies first told him it was against the law to take their photo.

Then they told him it was against the law to photograph a couple of underage girls they were chatting up.

And then they told him it was against the law to walk down the street without identification.

Obviously the dumb asses didn?t realize they were being recorded the entire time.
