Oregon Deputies Caught on Dash Cam Acknowledging Illegal Traffic Stop

Here is a perfect example of why we should all learn the public records law in our respective states and use them to our full advantage.

Last May, animal rights activist Steve Hindi was kicked out of an Oregon rodeo for trying to video record after they had hastily posted up signs saying it was not allowed, then announcing on the loudspeaker that only locals would be allowed to video record.

Hindi, founder of Showing Animals Respect and Kindness (SHARK), had flown into town to bail out another animal rights activist who had been arrested at the rodeo the previous day for video recording.

That activist,?Adam Fahnestock, was arrested by Malheur County sheriff deputy Bob Wroten ? who happens to sit on the board of the Jordan Valley Big Loop Rodeo ? which is an obvious conflict of interest.

Nevertheless, it is a private venue and many would agree that they can create their own rules, even if it means opening it to the public for an admission price, then selectively deciding who gets to video record.

So Hindi didn?t bother arguing with them about getting kicked out. But he also didn?t bother providing identification when they asked for it because he knew they had no legal basis to do so.?He just got in his car and drove off.

But then he realized he was being followed by a Malheur County sheriff?s deputy, who pulled him over more than ten miles away from the rodeo on the basis that he had not provided identification back at the rodeo.

Anybody can see it was a bullshit traffic stop. Even the deputies themselves knew it was a bullshit traffic stop, according to a conversation between two deputies recorded on their dash cam as they pulled him over.

Hindi obtained the video through a public records request and posted it on Youtube, which you can see above. Here is a sampling of their conversation:

"I didn't want to stop the man."

"God, we're going to get sued."

'We're going to be in a world of hurt."

It's all because of that rodeo board."

"DAMMIT, I was still recording."

There's something priceless about hearing cops shaking in their boots. This guy is most definitely the "real deal". cops: calling it "your job" won't cut it before God.

Cali. officer threatens illegal car search: 'Doesn't mean I can use what I find but I can do it.'

LOS ANGELES, CA -- After stopping a car "because we have a lot of problems with fraud rental cars here," a female officer threatened to illegally pull a man out of his car and illegally search it, when the citizen asked a simple question: "I being detained or I'm free to go?"

"I'm asking you a question but you can be pulled you out of the car and I can search it if you really want," says the officer.

"Um, how is that?" asks the citizen.

"Any way I want. Doesn't mean I can use what I find, but I can do it. So you wanna do that? You wanna play that game? You little hardass?"

This site not long ago featured the hillarios video of the guy swearing at the cops in police department when they made slightest attempt to prevent him from filming. Must-watch for everyone.

US Government Proposes Law Making It Illegal For Them To Kill You

Last Friday, US Congressman Dennis Kucinich introduced HR 6357, a bill which aims to 'prohibit the extrajudicial killing of United States citizens' by the federal government. In other words, in the Land of the Free, they need to pass a law to prevent the government from indiscriminately murdering its own citizens.

Now if this doesn't give one reason to pause and consider the distortions of liberty that have taken place in western civilization, I don't know what will. Think about it:
Does a free society send government hit men to eliminate anyone they perceive to be an enemy of the state?Does a free society have hundreds of police agencies, each with the authority to deprive a man of his life, liberty and property in their sole discretion?Does a free society have hundreds of thousands of laws, codes, rules, regulations, and policies which effectively criminalize nearly every aspect of one's existence?Does a free society lead the world in prison population?Does a free society hunt down criminals and terrorists by treating its citizens like criminals and terrorists?Does a free society tell its citizens what foods they are / are not allowed to consume?Does a free society steal your money at gunpoint to buy bombs that they drop by remote control on brown people in faraway lands?Does a free society debase its currency and plunder the purchasing power of its citizens?Does a free society saddle unborn generations with obligations they never signed up to bear?Does a free society award near total control of the economy, the money supply, and everything tied to it, to a tiny elite few?Does a free society brainwash its citizens into believing that they live in a free society? (at least the Chinese know they're not free...)Ask yourself, are you really living in a free society? Are you free? If not, why not? What else could possibly be more important?

It takes courage to answer honestly. But once you realize the truth and begin to see the system for what it is, it can be a liberating and life-changing experience.

You'll find that there are places where you can live free in this world. There are ways to preserve your dignity, your privacy, your livelihood. You'll find that you can build great camaraderie and mutual trust with like-minded souls because you share the same values, not the same color passport.

My guess is that you're reading this because you've already started down the road to freedom. But you might feel alone... intellectually isolated in a sea of automatons.

You're not alone. More and more people are waking up every day and beginning to realize the incredible fraud that has been perpetrated against them. When enough of them figure it out, this system will be finished.

That's why I fundamentally believe that today is one of the most exciting times to be alive since the French Revolution. And we're just getting warmed up.

Wow! Great job of exposing Michael Reichert for the scum he is. I suppose it won't be long before the boys in blue take action to remove the cameras on their vehicles. That would open up an after market for cameras installed on mundane vehicles. Looks like the war lovers have brought war to this land. I didn't see anywhere in the constitution for the government to make anything illegal. It also doesn't say a dogs nose trumps your rights. Children defy police in Washington, purchase "illegal" lemonade at Capitol

Thug D.C. police respond with arrests and intimidation

In response to a recent wave of lemonade stand shut downs and harassment of children over such petty regulations as are used to shut them down, several activist gathered at the west lawn of the capitol in Washington, DC to sell lemonade and were arrested. While the officers were technically on solid "legal" ground in shutting down the stand, they behaved inappropriately by any standard numerous times, using intimidation tactics on protesters and observers, and harassing members of the professional media. The willingness with which children and tourists participated by purchasing lemonade in disobedience of the police instructions is an indicator of how little respect the general public has for government in general, and specifically police when enforcing unjust laws. Gives me hope for America. For those who are complaining about the public property not being used for its intended purpose, part of the point of this that the government should not be using public property for the glorification of government when it could be better used to serve public interests. Excessive vending at the capitol (or without a permit in any public space) would surely be preferable to 22.5% unemployment. Free the economy!
